The only thing that gets through my hair is an Afro comb. It’s amazing how tangled it gets in the journey from my house to work. I’m going to buy a spare one and keep it in my work bag.

In prepping for Christmas news, I ordered the S@nctury Spa star gift from B00ts as a present for Mr SA to wrap up for me. I went via TCB and had a discount code on the B00ts app so it only cost £23.50 plus I got £5 of advantage points.

Definitely a work from home day today. The weather is vile. Really heavy rain here.

    Happy Friday 😊

The storm has hit us it's horrendous! Glad I made the decision to WFH. I got soaked going out to the bin and it's just steps away from the door. The rain is running down the road like rapids! Glad we live at the top of a hill.

I usually finish at lunchtime on Fridays and have a potter round the shops on the way home. Might as well do a full day today and keep the flexi for a day off next month. I'm as tight as a drum with my flexi pot and like to see it at around the 15 hours mark, I never know when I might need to dip into it.  It's very handy to have - like an emergency fund but with hours instead of pounds 😆

No plans to set foot outside the door again today and it will definitely be a NSD. Not sure if we'll get out with the dog as it's forecast to be like this all day.

DD has paid her board money so that's gone straight into the holiday pot.

Exercise will have to be indoors today, will sort out a couple of Get Fit with Rick sessions I think.

Not sure yet about tonight's dinner yet, going to see what needs using up next.

Mr SA and the dog are still in bed! Don't blame them to be honest.

It’s just dreary here now keeps spattering down with rain for a bit then stopping again - I think we had most of ours over the past come of days and overnight. We just about avoid the weather warning for today - the radar picture looks horrendous for further north so I don’t blame you at for not planning to leave the house!

36 years for me with Nationwide, I’m another who gets to laugh in the face of the showing me the charitable agreement stuff every time I open a new savings account! 😂 The card readers are I’m afraid an utter faff though - and was one of the reasons we shifted the joint account elsewhere.

The other half had to drag out dog out this morning for a walk. He did not want to go out.

He is in bed again now. Will let him out in the garden at lunchtime I think if he will go!

Agree it's awful here today @Sun_Addict. Our county even had a mention on Radio 4 this morning when they were discussing the extent of the storm & how Scotland would be getting it worst, but that it would extend right down to us. Feel so sorry for those people who are having to evacuate their homes & hope for the best. Cats utterly miserable.

Well isn't that odd.  I opened my Nationwide one in 1987.  So 36 years too.
