I had to use the Nati@nwide card reader for the first time today to pay the wheelie bin wash man. What a strange kettle of fish that is!Had confirmation of the YBS Christmas Saver maturing at the end of the month and the funds will move to a different account with a decent interest rate for an easy access account. I’m waiting to see if they do another Christmas Saver before opening a regular saver elsewhere.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I love the card reader as it stops those texts which here don't always get through. But I'm used to it as I have had one for years & even had a Barclays one when I was POA for my mother. I've had the nwide one so long the battery even went flat, I think about 10 years. I did replace the battery but thought I would update anyway. I will even make money if they stop being a building Soc, I think your share goes to charity. When the Lancastrian was sold to Northern Rock it paid off a fifth of my mortgage.

The card reader is fine.

And here we are at Thursday already!
Worked in the office until just after lunch and just need to do another couple of hours from home to make up my hours. Thankfully we didn't get the rain that was forecast so I stayed dry. It was really mild too, I dressed for yesterday's cold weather and was far too warm, the gloves and scarf came off before I got to the end of my road. Forgot to take my comb to work so it's been like a bird's nest all day - tried to convince myself it was tousled beach hair 😆
Stopped off at Lid! on the way home for a few things and also picked up the free loaf of bread.
No Zumba tonight, the instructor is having an operation and will be off for the next few weeks. She has cover for Wednesdays but not Thursdays. I've done 20,000 steps so far so think I've done my fair share of exercise today 😆 I shall have a nice long soak in the bath instead.
I'd planned to go into the office again tomorrow but have decided to WFH as the forecast looks dire and I really don't want to sit there in wet clothes again like last Friday. There isn't anything I need to be physically in the office for.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
Definitely makes sense to stay dry and work from home if you really don’t need to go into the office.
