I have some of those poppies pop up most years. Lovely colour & I love their tissue paper-like petals. You should defo get some more next year if you tip a ripe seed head upside down & give it a shake.

Thank you I'll do that and also collect some from the many poppies that grow locally in the pavement to see if I can grow a few more. Ironically my DS's garden is full of them and DIL keeps pulling them up!

Morning all, WFH today and my last working day of the week.

Today's exercise is dog walking later this morning, a live Pilates session at lunchtime and as Zumba isn't on tonight I'm going to find something else online to do after work. 

Tonight's dinner is rice stuffed pepper with salad.

I've made really good progress on the cleaning and only have the kitchen left to do. The steam scrubber mop is absolutely brilliant and my floors have never looked so clean, I'm really impressed with it. 

I need to move the aubergine plants as they're getting too big for where they are and also plant some more lettuce seeds. 

Definitely not a NSD today as the Zante holiday balance went out at 2.30am. Also the latest PON book I pre-ordered back in February is arriving today.

The young cat fell in the pond earlier 😬 It probably served her right as she was no doubt after frogs, newts or the fish. She’s ok but I think it shocked her. Wet cats are so scrawny 🤣

Good job I didn’t book the train tickets for Saturday yet as DS isn’t 100% sure the fence panels will arrive. I’ve told him to chase it up as it will cost us around £35 to get there via trains and taxis.

Poor cat. Every dog we have had has ended up in the pond at some point although Bear hasnt managed it   -Yet.

Morning, happy Friday 🥳

Day off today and meeting friends for lunch. Not seen these particular friends for a while thanks to rail strikes and having to keep rescheduling so very much looking forward to it. 

I need to set off soon as I have a train to catch and would like to go for a coffee first. 

Mr SA has received his COL payment this morning. Not telling him yet or he’ll start making a list. Ideally I’d like to put it to one side for anything he needs. He knows about it as he received a text. Reminded me that I’m supposed to be getting one from work along with a pay rise neither of which have materialised yet. They like to dangle a carrot then hold on to their money as long as they can. 

Today’s exercise will be walking to/from the train station in the city centre. 

Tonight’s dinner is stir fry. Mr SA is having fish and chips and is worried I won’t be back home in time to make his dinner 😐
