On the subject of teen idols, a couple of the lads I had a crush on as a young teenager I ended up pulling (for want of a better word 😆) a few years later. I’m afraid neither of them lived up to expectations and didn’t get beyond the first date 😬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

He was ok, but didn’t have the right 80’s hair for it 🤭 Wasn’t it funny how it was Ray Winston who made it big? I’d have never guessed that as I was drooling over my copy of Look In.Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I liked the rollers too and had all their albums, a tartan scarf and a pair of long stripy socks 😆 I never actually fancied any of them but my friend was going to marry Les McKeown 🤣 Will try and remember to watch that programme.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Just googled the programme @beanielou and it’s Thursday 29 June at 9pm ITV1. Sounds like it’s worth watching. Some shocking things went on in those days only now coming to light 🙁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I often see posts flash up on Facebook from old crushes or school boyfriends and think thank goodness that never turned out as intended at the time.5 -
That's Wednesday almost done. Worked in the office for the best part of the day now back home just to finish up a few bits.
Saw another nut job this morning on the walk through the city centre. He was walking just in front of me shouting and ranting then he suddenly started kicking at a pub door! He turned round and looked at me so I crossed the road and walked a different route to work. It used to be really quiet at 7am but since lockdown there seem to be all sorts of lowlife wandering about ranting. I wonder if they get kicked out of a hostel at that time?
Not a NSD as I bought the train tickets for Friday. I haven't done very well with NSDs this month hopefully July will be better. I'm not buying the train tickets for Saturday until it's 100% certain we're going, I know what DS is like for changing his mind at the last minute. I can pick them up on Friday while I'm at the station.
Mr SA had been 'helpful' with the laundry today and put the dry washing on top of the wet washing there wasn't enough room on the line for this morning when I pegged it out. Some of it was still dry but a lot has had to be hung out again. Bangs head against brick wall!
Today's exercise is walking to/from work and a Zumba class at 6pm. Tonight's dinner is scampi, sweet potato wedges and salad.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Finally I have a poppy in my garden hiding in between the blackberries and the buddleia 🥳I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8
