Morning happy Saturday.Mr SA enjoyed his birthday and his fish and chips last night. I had a spicy bean burger. Everyone in the restaurant sang happy birthday to him, they’d put up a banner by our table. Mr SA stumbled on the way back from the toilet and almost went crashing into the stage but thankfully two blokes caught him. He’s got a right corker of a bruise come up overnight.Sadly it’s our last day today. It’s flown by. We’re going to the same place as yesterday for lunch, not sure about tonight. We usually go back to a restaurant we enjoyed best on the last night but we’ve enjoyed them all for different reasons.I need to look for some glue today as Mr SA has knocked a piece off the scooter. He has slammed it about all week he’s very careless. He’ll need to be a lot more careful in Zante as they take £50 deposit and inspect the scooter before returning it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Morning happy Sunday.I’m up early because I’m convinced I’m going to oversleep and the coach isn’t coming until 9 😆
Typical we find the best restaurant with loads of veg on the last night. I had a lovely ratatouille, couldn’t eat it all unfortunately, I still feel full now. One on the list for our next trip here.Looking forward to getting back home now. The flight is at 11.50. We’ve had a lovely time and the weather has been amazing, hot and sunny every single day.@SuzeQStan you’re arriving to some fantastic weather, have a fabulous time.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

We arrived back in the house just over an hour ago. Very smooth flight and we landed early. The dog was overjoyed to see us, the cats are a bit aloof. Just had a lovely soak in the bath. Lanzarote airport was manically busy and we waited absolutely ages for special assistance. On the plus side the other end back home we were whisked through passport control without queuing. I brought back two bottles of Gordon’s pink gin from our home airport £12.59 for a litre which is amazing value, only downside was having to cart them all the way to Lanzarote and back. Looking forward to putting my feet up tonight but I’m shattered so it won’t be a late one.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10
