Morning. Well done on the walk. We have sunny but cold.weather here. Fresh I think is the term. If your weather is like that then I'm quite envious as your walk sounds lovely.
Thank you :)  It is sunny here too.  I love going out when the sun is coming up, it's a great start to the day.

Well done for managing some "me" time. Hopefully your knee is on the mend now. I did the bedrooms yesterday (HT's was horrendous) so just downstairs to do today. It's lovely and sunny here so gardening first even if I do have to wear a coat.
Thank you :)  Well done on doing the bedrooms yesterday, enjoy the gardening!  I'm hopeful that my knee is on the mend too.

Your home plans are coming along. Well done on the walk. Good luck with the guttering. Enjoy your time off.
Thank you, we seem to be making some progress.

Thank you.  Good point.  I rarely RM any more, but best check EVRI in case.  I will check RM prices though and update my list as I do occasionally post books/magazines with them.

Eek to cats scratching carpets - ours used to do that as well which always resulted in her getting shouted at - she never got put off though and surprisingly the carpet survived!

You've done amazingly with the decorating - I can't believe you got so far along with little jwil's room!

And thanks ladyholly for the reminder on the postage increase too - I didn't have anything to send from work yesterday but I will today - so I'll get the new rate card printed and folded into my envelope with the stamps ready!

She normally uses the top of the stairs (!) which isn't ideal but at least will be recarpeted one day.  That's good that your carpet survived, gives me hope!

I can't believe how far I got either, I was just planning on doing the ceiling :D  I kept thinking, 'oh I'll carry on until x o'clock', then I'd do another hour, then I figured I was so close I might as well finish and not have to worry for the rest of the week!
