NeverendingDMP said:Morning. Well done on the walk. We have sunny but cold.weather here. Fresh I think is the term. If your weather is like that then I'm quite envious as your walk sounds lovely.
It is sunny here too. I love going out when the sun is coming up, it's a great start to the day.
CRANKY40 said:Well done for managing some "me" time. Hopefully your knee is on the mend now. I did the bedrooms yesterday (HT's was horrendous) so just downstairs to do today. It's lovely and sunny here so gardening first even if I do have to wear a coat.Well done on doing the bedrooms yesterday, enjoy the gardening! I'm hopeful that my knee is on the mend too.

I don't think I can move any more. I've painted the whole of little jwil's bedroom, ceiling and walls and done two coats on the walls as well. I'm so tired and achey now, but so chuffed too! It looks great. I'll need to have a look tomorrow and see what touching up needs doing, but it's looking good so far.
I didn't expect to get that much done, but am pleased.
Little miss is not feeling well today, hopefully she'll be better tomorrow, as she's got her first aid course.
Settling down for the evening now, I don't think I'll be up to much!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -

Well I'm not feeling too bad today after yesterday's gallivanting. Particularly as I'd been up and down steps all day which would have been tough on my knee. I'm taking that as a great positive sign.
I did my walk this morning, so I'm pleased about that.
It feels like a massive weight is off my shoulders having painted both their rooms. Although there's still more to do, they've both finally got their own space. I'm so pleased about that, it's been a long wait for them. The cat seems to have taken up residence with little miss, which is quite sweet as she doesn't normally like people. Not so sweet though is that the new carpet seems to be considered as a new scratching post so she'll be banned before long!
Little miss is better today thankfully, so the kids will be at their first aid course later. They are both quite looking forward to it I think.
Today I mostly plan to just take advantage of the sunshine, and not do a lot other than read in it. The thought fills me with joy 🌞😎☀️🔆

Eek to cats scratching carpets - ours used to do that as well which always resulted in her getting shouted at - she never got put off though and surprisingly the carpet survived!
You've done amazingly with the decorating - I can't believe you got so far along with little jwil's room!
And thanks ladyholly for the reminder on the postage increase too - I didn't have anything to send from work yesterday but I will today - so I'll get the new rate card printed and folded into my envelope with the stamps ready!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I can't believe how far I got either, I was just planning on doing the ceilingI kept thinking, 'oh I'll carry on until x o'clock', then I'd do another hour, then I figured I was so close I might as well finish and not have to worry for the rest of the week!
