Well done for sorting the paperwork. It's one of my most hated jobs.

I'll do SW with you all too if that's ok? I need to keep my weight down so I can have my other knee replacement (if they ever get around to it).
I hate it too.  I've still got to go through all the stuff I sorted last time (several years ago) to see if anything else can now go.

Definitely join us in SW.  I'm hoping to improve my knee pain (though it's better than it was).

Glad you like your new seat cover.

Good luck with the free SW plan. You may be able to get 12 weeks free through your GP if you fancied it.
Thank you :)  I'm not sure my GP does it, but I struggle to find a class at a convenient time now.  Although saying that, there was a new Friday one that might work now we've changed little miss's swimming day (if it's still going, I haven't seen it advertised for a while).  I'm going to try and go alone for now.  I don't get on very well with the pressure to be constantly losing.  My body doesn't seem to do that unfortunately and if I don't remain aware of that I'll get disheartened.  It's something to keep in mind though for future.

Well done on the decluttering. I totally get the rage.

I also get the issue with SW. They make unrealistic expectations in prompting people to aim for 2lb every week which isn't sustainable for most people - and in no way reflects the average weight lost. I've been doing quite well (before becoming ill) on my own at losing weight - so agree it can be done alone. I think SW also brought out my inner rebel as they were so down on milk and I felt it was setting people up for osteoarthritis so always ignored that part. With hindsight though - I should have cut down on cheese!!

The bit about weight loss classes that I dislike is the bit where someone says something like they had a night out, eight pints and a chippy tea and they've still lost 4lbs or so. I can stick to it so carefully and still only lose half a pound. Back in the day when I did go (with friends) there were so many people saying they'd had cake, ice cream, chocolate etc that even the leader said did they know it was a weight loss club..... Then of course you leave hungry after discussing food for an hour and you're also craving all the rubbish that people had been "confessing" to.

@jwil many years ago I remember my gran making a pile of rubbish in the garden ready for a bonfire. We went to the shop as she'd run out of matches and when we got back grandad was taking things off the bonfire and putting them away again. Stand firm against the car boot clutter fetcher!

Yes that setting targets each week used to really annoy me, and the consultant used to get frustrated when I would say I just want a loss, I don't care how much it is.

I also ignore some of the rules - I have full fat yogurts instead of fat free as I don't want the sweeteners/sugar.

I am probably the same :D  I ignore too many of the rules so no wonder I don't lose weight :D:D .  I like the basic principles though of making sure I have half a plate of veg which then reduces the amount of carbs, eating less processed stuff etc, and that is what I'll be doing.

Yes, that bit is really frustrating as well.  Or when you don't lose weight - 'what went wrong this week?'  Nothing, I bloody tried hard!  Saying that though, I did really like the club I used to be at, there was a really nice group of people.  It was never the same after they closed that one.

I will definitely be standing firm against recluttering!

I bought £100 of PBs today as CB came in and it's only a few days til payday and I'm up to date with everything.  Both our joint account and my individual account still have a bit of cash in them for once, so what ever is left on Wednesday evening I'll sweep over to savings.

I'm quite enjoying sending my PADs to savings as it's nice seeing them grow (as long as I'm not dipping into them).  Long may it last.
