Thank you, it's felt like it's been gone for a long time.teapot2 said:Sounds like an excellent plan for the holidays and glad your mojo has reappeared
Thank you. I relate to that too. It's been great following your new life.savingholmes said:Excellent news you've found your mojo. I love the Alice film - and it's reference to 'muchness'. I relate to that and you as I have been working hard to rediscover my 'muchness' and decide where my life will go from here.
An extra rug sounds great - as do the chair covers. I have lots of chair covers in my house and they make such a difference.
Chair covers have just arrived, so I'll have a go with them.
So am I, I've been lost without it!WinterWarrior said:I’m loving the rediscovered mojo ✨

I had another look at the remaining toys downstairs and there are still loads left! It's so overwhelming. I'm going to maybe tackle a box a day while I'm off. These ones are just full of little bits, so it might help complete things that we are missing parts of so we can get rid of them, and some might just be bin fodder.
The kids have made an effort with their rooms, so they are better than before, but I'll probably try and go through some of it at some point as well. It's good enough for the survey for now.
I've made arrangements for visits on Friday and maybe Saturday, and then the rest of the holidays will be quiet hopefully.
I've spotted a new aqua aerobics class which is over a lunchtime. I'd love to be able to try and do it. It would mean I'd need to take a 2hr lunchbreak though to allow time to travel there and back as well. It's a lot to add to the day. I can't try it this week as I need to do the school run, so need to allow time for that as well. I'll keep thinking about it.
I've had an invite for a health check today, so I will book that as I found it useful last time. After Easter I'm going to go back to SW principles again and have a go at losing some weight again. My small changes are doing me the world of good in changing my habits and some of my health markers, but not making a difference to my weight, and I would like to get some off. Hopefully I can do both
I've noticed over the last few years that I tend to put on weight at this time of year, mostly because of the hot cross buns and easter chocolates 🤦♀️. Although I've been eating them, it's not been at scale because of the changes I have made, and I haven't put on weight at all this year. I'm calling that a small win

I think spring is a good time to rediscover your mojo. I’ve been the same especially since joining the WW spring boot camp. It does you good to go back to basics.
I hope you can find a way to make the aqua fit work for you if it’s something you’d enjoy.
PADs and decluttering are awesome as always 👏I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
Hi Jwil
Now I can finally start to eat more normally again - I too am likely to follow SW principles even if I don't rejoin. Hopefully with Beanie too we can cheer one another on.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

It definitely makes a difference when the sun starts shining again. I've always enjoyed aqua aerobics and started going again before Covid but the evening ones are always fully booked and I've never managed to get on. It wouldn't work with my compressed hours now either so this one is a better option.Sun_Addict said:I think spring is a good time to rediscover your mojo. That's good, we can cheer each other on. I won't be joining either, so will dig out my old books again.savingholmes said:Hi Jwil

Chair cover fitted. I thought I'd ordered two but didn't, so I've ordered another one to be delivered tomorrow. It looks much better. I managed to get it half price through warehouse so even better.
A bit more tidying done this morning, and I've put some lamb in the oven for roast. It feels like ages since we've had a roast dinner so I'm looking forward to that.
I've done a bit of admin and sorting of paperwork as well. It's dry and intermittently sunny here today, so I think a mixture of decluttering and sitting in the sun is planned."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Well done for sorting the paperwork. It's one of my most hated jobs.
I'll do SW with you all too if that's ok? I need to keep my weight down so I can have my other knee replacement (if they ever get around to it).3 -
Glad you like your new seat cover.
Good luck with the free SW plan. You may be able to get 12 weeks free through your GP if you fancied it.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
