We won the lottery last night, hurrah! But it was only £3 odd so I can't retire yet. I will pad it though when it arrives.
My EF is looking wobbly at the moment, when I was cleaning the bathroom this morning, I realised the sink is cracked. It's not particularly visible, but I can feel it. It must have happened when I broke the cistern lid as it wasn't there before, and part of the lid dropped into the sink. I'd love to get it all done, but the hassle of trying to find tradespeople is so overwhelming, I hate it. Then, it's always me that has to deal with it all too as I am able to be at home. And of course it will dent the EF significantly.
A quiet-ish day planned today. DH's brother is visiting later, so I've tidied through. I need to bag/box up the stuff the relative asked for, and hopefully drop it off as well. It would be nice to see it gone.
The garden seems to be progressing from a jungle to the amazon rainforest, so I really ought to try and do some weeding. Conversely I really want to just sit and laze around, as I feel like I've been dashing around like a mad thing recently.
I found an argos voucher for £5 off a £50 spend to be used by tomorrow. I will have a look and see if I can get the school uniform done through there as I always buy it from Sainsbury's anyway as I like the quality and it lasts well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I was told recently that BP goes up if you laugh or cough (I laughed whilst I had the BP cuff on). Who knew - I thought laughing was good for you! What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?2

Oh really? That's strange. I would have assumed laughing would reduce it! The machine was saying 'do not talk' while having it done.satchmo1 said:I was told recently that BP goes up if you laugh or cough (I laughed whilst I had the BP cuff on). Lovely flower fields. Good luck with the garden/jungle. We have a similar problem after all the rain. The garden is closing in on itself. Some of the bushes have shot up from what was shoulder height and are now as high as the bedroom windows and I don't really know how or where to startJan 18 Joint debts 35,213

I am going to go against the grain & say you need to replace the sink.
You could also do the toilet & then that just leaves the bath to do at a later date.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I would go for an insurance claim now 2 items are damaged. You should get the complete suite from the claim as it’s an odd colour to match. We all pay for insurance and so rarely make a claim, but in this instance I think it would be worth doing. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
