By the time we’d been in the opticians, shoe shop, pharmacy and library, we’d pretty much lost the will to live with shopping. So we headed off to see the wildflower meadow which given that it’s at the end of it’s season was still looking pretty stunning. We also passed the sunflower field on the way home which was a nice surprise 😁

We did manage to get school shoes etc today, but none of the rest of the uniform so I might look online for that, or go to the big supermarket. Opticians went well, and no glasses needed for the kids. DH needed a blood pressure reading for tomorrow, so we tried to get it in the library, and although it worked for me, for some reason it wouldn't for him, so a quick dash to a pharmacy so that we could get that done.
Mine was showing a 4lb weight loss since last time which is good, but my blood pressure was only 1pt lower than last time, so it looks like my blood pressure is a bit high. Last time I didn't sit for the 10 minutes recommended, but this time I did (mostly) so that's not an excuse. I'm going to bite the bullet and book my blood test. I'm guessing it won't be pretty, but I might as well find out once and for all.
A bulky item is to be decluttered tomorrow, along with a load of accessories. It will be great to see the back of it, and good space reclaimed in the middle room."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I am very overweight and don't exercise a lot so it's not really a huge surprise, but it is recent as I've never had an issue before.
