Crumbs, Jackie, you don't do things by half measures. I'm so sorry to hear you're having such a rough time, if I were you I'd be tempted to try to sleep anyway, and if they have to wake you up, at least you'll have had some rest.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Oh bless you, I’m just an ordinary old woman believe me. Not had a great night to be fair, lovely little nurse on tonight and a new patient in surgical was verbally complaining about the ‘service’ she was getting. Makes me so cross as the nurses and HCAs all work themselves really hard to try and make your life as pain and worry free as possible. It’s not an hotel it’s a hard pressed underfunded underpaid place😡 the little lass tonight was doing her best and looked shattered I felt she could have done with a bit of TLC not someone who complains all the time ☹️ they are lovely lasses and are so kind to try and calm peoples fears which seem bigger in the small hours of the morning. She also made a lovely cuppa for me as I couldn’t sleep well. Second scan didn’t arrive so maybe it will be on for later today🤞 onwards and upwards chums. It’s 04.50 am and I’m still awake 🙄oh well at least I’m resting JackieO xx16

So sorry to hear that you are back in hospital. Fingers crossed you are soon home and on the road to recovery very soon.
What a year you have had, one you'll wish to forget .
Hopefully next year will prove to be much better and you get your move to your beloved IOW. x

Somebody was telling me yesterday about a relative with pneumonia who was expected to sleep in a hospital chair as there were no beds!6 -
