New Dad Danny face timed me from the hospital in New York and he is totally besotted with her, she is a cute little lass and he just kept staring at her and said 'I can't believe this little person is here at last'
I asked him how he felt to be a Dad at last, as Hayley, his wife had gone for a shower, and he said 'Nanny I'm completely gone she is just the best thing Ive ever seen in my life and I thought it was good when we got married but this is just out done that day.
Bless him, he and Hayley will make lovely parents, and I wish them lots of good times .
My eldest DD can't wait to go over at the end of next month, and I bet she will just want to sit and cuddle her all the time. This week has been such a good one and even the weather has turned nice and warm and we have a good few warm days ahead I think.
Cheers everyone for all your support I do appreciate it

Thanks everyone it's really been quite a week. Just dropped DGS Ben off at Yarmouth to catch his ferry home, as he is back at work in school tomorrow.
Other two DGS Jack & Henry are coming down tomorrow, but Henry can only stay until Tuesday night as he has work in London on Wednesday ,but Jack's school, being a boarding school has broken up, so he will stay for the rest of the week and travel back with us on Friday. This holiday has flown by so quickly, we have not had too bad weather a couple of damp mornings, but by the afternoon it dries up so quickly.
My next door neighbour texted me and sent me a photo of my sunflower as its in bloom at the moment ,her and her husband have been watering my potato patch on the evenings when its not rained, and she said they are looking good I'll get her a present for when I go back as she's a nice lass and very caring.
Just sitting on the verandah at the holiday house watching the ships go by in the sunshine .There are some super huge cruise ships that look enormous , as both Portsmouth and Southampton have the big liners.
I think my son-in-laws doing a BBQ for dinner tonight, I'm getting very spoilt and doing not a great deal at the moment .Staying away from shops etc as I want to be fighting fit for my op. I have a very low immune system so crowds are not a great idea, not keen on them anyway
Hope everyone has had a good weekend and the sun is shining down on you all

I missed it because I'm on holiday but we shall be going out for afternoon tea when I am back at home again. My Dd loves her weekend breaks at Deal as it gives her and her OH a chance to relax away from their busy jobs. Plus they have a couple of bikes stored there so they go off for rides around the countryside at weekends which does them both the world of good. Its only about 40 minutes from the Medway so it doesn't take them too long to get down there on a Friday night. My son-in-law knows all the back roads if the M2 is stacked up as well
