The world at times seems to consist of carbs @lucielle! Keeping off them or at least at low levels costs a fortune but -as I remind myself- health costs money and it is a priority. Thanks for your encouragement and @PennysIntoPounds too. Love Humdinger xxlucielle said:Hope the results are good. Fallen off the low carb wagon.L7 -
Hope the tests go well

Fingers crossed, m'dear!
F2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!6 -
I’m sure the tests will come back fine but good luck anyway 🤞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪6

Hope the test results are as hoped for.

Up at silly o'clock, fretting. Why? Generally worrying about my daughter; she is home this weekend as has been poorly. Brought her washing home - naturally- and the drying laundry is making me wheeze. Recovered from my first bout of covid - negative test a week ago - but maybe the two are connected.
Working like a pit pony for not much money.
While I'm delighted that the Tories are in deep trouble, I'm worried that they'll find a way to get elected again. Am campaigning hard against that but even so. I know they're incapable of doing the decent thing and calling an election before they have to,but it would be fab if they could instead of viewing themselves as the natural party of government.
But in better news, at least I've had my LBM. If I'd hadn't paid the debt off when Covid hit, what a mess I'd be in.
I've seized the nettle and managed to reverse diabetes.
Most important of all, I have loved ones.
I think I need to work less. No walk today which is a major contributor to this anxiety.
Hope this post isn't pulling anyone down. I'm normally jolly but I suppose we all have moments like this.
Onwards and upwards love Humdinger xx8 -
