Oh dear, so sorry it was such a mix up. Enjoy the rest of your weekend xx7

Oh dear - how disappointing after all the preparation - physical and emotional. Whilst we know it's better to be safe than sorry it would be far better if the 2 clinicians had done the risk assessment together.
enjoy the pizza and film night.

I am so sorry, Foxgloves. Wonderful as the NHS are sometimes communication is not the best. I turned up and had a scan for something that was totally different to what I thought it was for. Got an email reminding me about an appointment I knew nothing about. Had a few melt downs myself over that last few months so I can well imagine why you were nearly in tears. No matter how brave you are you psyche yourself up for these things. Go have a glass of wine (or a cup of tea if you don't drink), sit yourself down and just be kind to yourself. We're all here for you. xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8

I think the polite version is Oh bother!! Back a few years ago there would have been a quick phone call between them before the appt was decided, but no-one seems to talk these days. You should have heard the but why conversations I had at the eye unit on friday. The desire to bang peoples heads together is getting greater with every passing year.

Sending hugs @foxgloves. It's enough to make you scream and start smashing all the furniture! You should be top priority, given your (absolutely necessary) assertiveness. We are indeed all here for you love Humdinger xx6

Oh no, what a complete mess up on the part of NHS. Definitely communication is not their strong point. I know someone who had similar experience. Enjoy your pizza & have a rest. Hope they sort it all out soon.xMaking the debt go down and savings go up
