Morning all and a stonking 23/27 today.
The singer situation - very long story condensed somewhat - we had two excellent candidates and really couldn't choose - how to pick between astonishing and amazing?! Both had the image, looks, singing ability, unbounded enthusiasm, availability, experience....spin a coin? Anyways, between them they have decided to do alternate gigs - Reeeeesult! Both learnt the songs, and are really sociable people. Rehearsal Sunday should be interesting! Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!6 -
Sorry to hear your news @Coveredinbees!!!! - that is a difficult situation to find yourself in. It is one thing deciding to cut down for yourself but quite another to be told you shouldn’t drink anymore.
Forgot to post yesterday but was AF so 10/10 please cathybird6 -

@Coveredinbees!!!! Sending you a big hug 🤗 - maybe once the dust settles you can turn it into a positive and use this as a new start, the opportunity to turn a new leaf ? Sometimes taking control of a situation can make change less daunting ?
@dustydigger keep going you are doing a brilliant job so far and we are nearly at the end of the month - how did that happen ?
@RobM99 what a brilliant outcome, you've got the best of both worlds there, bet you are all delighted and stunned at the same time. Sunday will be a blast !
It's 22/26 for me and as I'm off work tomorrow its the end of the week - yah ! Nice long weekend planned with no booze in the plans, decision made 👍6 -
