@CuppaTea you must be so relieved, hope you are recovering well
Another AF day for me, had a warm ribena instead of the bottle of red!5 -
Good to hear from you RobM99. Man, those invisible bees are just the worst aren’t they.I am up to 21/24 including today thank you, cathybird, after I enjoyed an AF weekend despite quite a bit of opportunity + temptation to do derail my non-drinking intentions.A small win for me yesterday. I was in the big out of town supermarket (the one beginning with an ‘A’), it was horrendous in there, honestly it was like the last days of Rome. People were getting visibly shirty with each other, I saw a standoff over a parking space, the shop was rammed full, people were almost, almost at the point of snatching food out each others’ hands and while queuing for the till (thinking calm thoughts) I saw a bloke being led out of the store by three police officers and he wasn’t exactly going quietly. Madness. Anyway, my small win was just that they had a very big discount on a decent bottle of single malt, I picked it up and put it back on the shelf about three or four times before finally leaving it there and making myself walk away. (I settled for a single can of beer instead as the sole alcohol purchase in my basket.)4
