@TornErse I completely agree with the observations you make about alcohol. Whilst I have no solutions I do think making deliberate, mindful choices about its consumption is a step in the right direction for most people. I have recently become a big fan of Steven Barletts podcast, whilst not directly related to addiction, there is a lot about mindset and what we know about the brain. The recent 14 minute 'moment' with Mo Gowdat I found was particularly interesting regarding how the mind works to become really good at repeating the actions you perform and suggesting tools to counteract negative actions / habits / defaults. It's a lot better than I've made it sound ha.7 -
