*a note to myself really but re reading my post made me think, what bloody rubbish excuses I told myself for opening a bottle of wine. Going forward, I'm going to write down my reasons/excuses, have a cup of tea (which I love just as much) and revisit6

That's interesting @family355. My excuses include a terrible day, an awful journey home, bad news, good news, sunny weather - all rubbish excuses really. Your solution sounds good and I will have to try and follow it - as well as not being tempted to buy a bottle especially when shopping later in the afternoon after choose excuse to insert here!family355 said:*a note to myself really but re reading my post made me think, what bloody rubbish excuses I told myself for opening a bottle of wine. Interesting comments. 👍 I'm usually fine on school nights but, like @CuppaTea, I hate the thought of being AF at weekends. I'm OK if I'm out and driving or at the theatre/cinema. At least I've cracked not getting home late in the evening and starting then. 😁
7/10 AFDs please@cathybird6 -
been a bit absent but 9/21 for me pleaseMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4 -

I’m another one who is normally fine during the week but I do like to have a drink Friday/Saturday/Sunday - the problem is when we keep having all these Bank Holiday Monday’s too 😉

Declaring early for 3/14. Really interesting discussion, especially about excuses and one not being enough.6
