Nice haul both Tesco and TGTG. Well done on the batch cooking you’ll soon be thankful for that when work starts and you’ll rather spend time with puppy.

So dinners all parcelled up and in or on the way to the freezer. I've worked out how much each portion has cost:

6 portions of Fish Pie - £1.05 each
4 portions of Lemon Chicken - £1.15 per portion (needs rice when served)
10 portions of Sweet and sour chicken - £0.90 per portion (needs rice when served)
5 portions of sausage casserole - £0.60 per portion (needs jacket potato / mash when served)

I've eaten a portion of fish pie for dinner as I can't take those to work (smell), off now for yoghurt and pear for pudding and then I promise I'll stop talking about food :)

Morning all, last day of the holidays here so I'm up early or I won't sleep tonight and then I'll be tired and grumpy at work tomorrow. Chicken thighs didn't make it to the freezer last night (oops!) so I'm making a chicken casserole this morning which we will have for dinner today.

I have stripped my bed and bedding is in the washing machine, I filled up the screenwash and oil in the car (it was sooo cold!), and today will be spent pottering about, getting stuff ready for the week ahead, going to collect a puppy playpen from someone on marketplace and watching football, with hopefully some pennies being made along the way as I haven't really looked at that yet this year.
