Morning all, I've been a bit quiet on here lately - so for the last 18 months or so I've had a good friendship with a guy that has developed and to all intents and purposes we have been in a relationship for months. I've kept it very quiet and low key, didn't want to get carried away etc ... anyway, turns out he's just like all the others and so I'm currently feeling very fragile and hurting. Again. At what point will I learn?! I'm hoping this will give me the motivation to focus on me again in the New Year - get back to my walking and eating properly etc and not giving a sh*t about men, 

I think I'll be a bit better once I'm back at work as I'll be occupied then. For now it's hurting and I'm checking my phone constantly etc. I need to turn it around and use it to push me onwards. Today will be spent looking at goals for the New Year and getting the house back to normal

Right, Christmas tree is gone, decs are back in their boxes ready to go back in the loft. Pine needles everywhere but I reckon this is the best way for me today - declutter, clear-out, keep busy

2 bin bags of rubbish filled so far, recycling has gone out and the food waste bin is full (mainly manky veg from the bottom of the fridge and bread). Any more will need to be taken to the tip later. My plan now is to get downstairs de-cluttered and deep-cleaned today, I will work on upstairs later in the week. It is sooo good for my head to have a clear-out, I didn't think the place was too bad but there seems to be plenty to go, mainly packaging etc from Xmas stuff. I'm also being ruthless with things like candles that only have a small bit left in the bottom. 

Windows are open, sun is out, ds is at work all day, music is on, and I'm chugging my 2 litres of water while I'm working

Well I feel like I've been productive all day but have still got so much to do. I have got the conservatory sorted, cleaned from top to bottom and it really did need it. Everything is clean, the chair covers have been washed and are drying now. I have been to the tip too. The lounge won't take too long, needs a clean and a good hoover but otherwise is okay. That can wait til tomorrow now. I've had a hot bath and now am going to do some financial planning for the year ahead. This is one of my favourite things to do each year
