Thanks all, she is still quite shy and is spending a lot of time hidden under the radiator behind the sofa, but when she does come out she is very affectionate, very purry and very playful

She needs to settle in. My youngest cat was the same. She was rescued from a friend of my DD’s who didn’t want her and wasn’t looking after her. She was very nervous at first but soon settled in and now rules the house 😆
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1 -
