    Morning @tryingtodobetter

Can I just query the total amount paid to date?  Is this £999, if so can I ask you confirm going forwards the total amount paid to date rather than the balance you have left?  Im easily confused!

    Thanks
    Shell x
Ahhh no sorry the £999 is the amount still owing! So the £976 is the amount paid to date. x.

Evening everyone.  I haven't been on since April but have been plugging away at my debt.
So far I've paid off a total of £1,800.

    As I stand now I'm

    #35     £1,800/£4,500

I'll not have my debt paid of by Christmas. I work as a TA in a school and we are now off for summer holidays.  Unfortunately for me that means 7 weeks unpaid leave as I used my holidays up during the school year for Halloween, Easter, Christmas etc.
Due to my living arrangements I am unabe to claim any beneifits, and cannot claim job seekers due to having a 52 week contract even though I only get paid 44 weeks of the year. Due to family duties/ arrangements etc I am unable to get myself a summer job either.  So it's tighten the belt time until October for me unfortunatley.

But I do have a target of Christmas 2024 to be debt free.  That's what I am aiming for if that's OK.

@keedie, woohoo congrats on the paying off a debt!  You are doing really well and paid a total of just over 60% of your target and are ahead of target (for the current time of the year)!

Hi All, much better figures this month for me - just in time for summer break to slow me back down. Hopefully I can keep impulsive spends to a minimum!
