No emergency fund set up, last year we sold our house and brought a new renovation project which ate away at all savings much quicker than anticipated, as my husband took a sabbatical from work, so any emergency fund has been spent. The balance transfer in at 0%, small fee for doing and will pay back once the insurance money comes through.shell16 said:
Do you have an emergency fund set up? If not start to save now. I've used mine lots of times without adding to debt. Most opt for £1000 but personally I go for £500, which will cover most emergencies.Living_my_best_life said:#43 £241.67 paid off the loan.
Feeling slightly deflated that already had to do balance transfer to increase my debt to pay an unexpected vet bills, some of which I will be able to recoup from insurance, but not all.
