    Hi all,
@MrsCD so sorry to hear about your Dad. My thoughts are with you. As Laura said just because it was expected doesn't mean it isn't a shock. Look after yourself and take some comfort from knowing he was pain free and where he wanted to be. Hugs

I have coupon spends to declare after I went to use some vouchers today. I bought 4 t shirts for myself, 2 t shirts as presents for upcoming birthdays and a fleece cardigan for another gift for an upcoming birthday. Looking at the list I calculate that at 35 coupons. So 89.5 - 35 = 54.5 remaining. I was very tempted by some thick socks but then decided against them as I really do have enough socks it's just that I don't have many thick ones left. But we are coming into summer so I won't be wearing thick socks for a few months hopefully  so what I have should last me into next year. I may need some new slippers soon as I seem to have stretched them by wearing the thick socks  They are not yet worn out but they are falling off my feet so I might get some new ones to wear with the thin socks. I will ponder for a while.
    Take care everyone
    Coupons remaining 54.5

Dad passed away at home yesterday afternoon. The District nurses worked so hard to make him pain free, and he was calm and peaceful when he left us.

    Today I've made lists......

Thanks for the support from you lovely people. 😪
Big hugs, @MrsCD.  I’m glad you were able to spend the time with him over the last few weeks.

Sorry to hear your news, Mrs CD. Glad that it was peaceful.

Thinking of you @MrsCD on the passing of your dad x

I came on with an offer (not sure if permitted)  not sure where else to go as there is a box full of old new darning wool and as I have never yet got to knitting socks - got the tools but no idea yet  This will be on my to do list at some point in my after work finishes time of life. Just wish I'd found this thread sooner. If someone needs to save some coupons I could be the one in a long black coat with goodies.

@Mrs.CD sorry to hear of your loss. It is hard even if you are expecting it. Hugs and prayers for you. I am still dealing with my father's death - and he died in 2006. It takes awhile.
