2023 Fashion on the Ration Challenge

I may have been a bit sneaky here and just bought some clothes before the 2024 challenge starts 😱 but in my defence most of my clothes are still in storage.  I also have the possibility of doing some 'extras' work at the beginning of January. 

I used to do a bit before I went to France and one thing I learn't was to have a second set of identical clothes or at least the top half.  Should you spill anything on yourself - coffee or lunch say - you can change and obviously you can't change into something different because nothing is ever filmed in chronological order.  You can't have that OAP at the back switching between a red and a black top depending on which main actor is speaking. 🤣🤣.

The likelihood of finding 2 identical anythings at a charity shop is low so I hit the sale rack at T3sco plus some full price.  I now have 2 doubled up costumes which should see me through.

Proper counting starts tomorrow. 😁

Failed utterly last year, let's try again!
I'm also on a weight loss mission so will need smaller clothes, I'm going to meld the two challenges together and try to refashion/buy second hand as I go!

Please count please count me in. I’m at 42.5 for 2023 and will carry the coupons over to eke out 2024. I’m going to try to cut down on CS items as well as I’m an avid declutterer,

And I wanted to say thank you as well for sharing @Laura_Elsewhere.  I too come from a family ravaged by alcoholism, with very close relatives suffering extreme ill health from it, and ongoing stress and worry caused by it.  I do drink, and at times in the past I have been drinking too much, although never anything like my family.  I think is one of those learned behaviours you can pick up from a dysfunctional childhood. Thankfully I have never had a problem as such, and these days everything is in moderation.
