We start with 66 coupons, right?
I know it’s not 2023 juuuust yet, but I needed a new pair of pyjamas so picked up a pair today - T-shirt and shorts style.
Do we think I should take off the 8 coupons they’d cost? Or are we classing just from 1st Jan?‘When you only have two pennies left in the world, spend one on bread and the other on flowers. The bread will sustain life, the flowers will give you a reason to live.’Frugal living in 2024.

I'm in. I joined last year but dropped out partway through as I lost a lot of weight and needed to replace most of my wardrobe - including shoes. I also wanted to stock up on thermals for the forthcoming winter - glad I did!! Charity shops and secondhand were no good so I decided to treat it as 1939 with war drums in the distance and bought enough to see me through but tried to buy thoughtfully
But I now have enough that I think/hope I can manage on my coupons. It will keep me accountable. Will start on 1 January. I don't need anything at the moment and I'm not tempted by the sales so with luck it will be a while before I have a coupon spendIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!7 -

I'm in!
No real plans to buy anything. DS has bought me a short outdoor jacket for my birthday, but I'm fairly well up on clothing-. Still have a jumper to finish from last year ( I stopped when the weather got so hot) but at the mo.ent I'm back to making woolly hats for prisoner. One is done, I'm halfway through another and the way the yarn is going I'll have.enough for a third. Keeps me out of mischief!

And this is why I love this Challenge. Just when you feel that nobody understands, there’s someone here who knows what you’re going through.

I might actually finish one of my cross stitch kits this year…..it’s only been a WIP since the early 00’s! (In my defence it has many fractional stitches and is on 16ct aida).✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Hello, can I pop in and join for next year? I have no doubt I’d be able to do this if I didn’t have a yarn and fabric issue, ek! Main,y because I don’t buy modern clothing. So going to find this quite the challenge but it will be good for curbing my yarn spending.Frugal Living Challenge 2023
