for some reason I cannot access MCOL.
I have emailed CCBC and this is their response"Thank you for your email. I confirm that to date we have not processed a response from the claimant in regard to your defence to the claim, however; we are currently working in arrears due to the high volumes of work being received and may have already received their Intention of Notice to Proceed. You may wish to contact us again at a later date to check on the status of the case."0 -
Wait patiently for the next letter from the CCBC - which will invite the Defendant to complete a Directions Questionnaire.2

Have recived the letter from the CCBC. downloaded and filled in the N180.
Do i need to physically mail the completed form to the CCBC and to DCB?
Can I email this to CCBC? Can I email this to DCB?
many thanks

As advised in the Newbies/FAQ thread, yes, you email as an attachment it to the CCBC and copy in the bottom-dwellers at DCB Legal. Also, you should get an auto-response from the CCBC which is your "proof" of delivery.sunnyb13 said:Have recived the letter from the CCBC. downloaded and filled in the N180.

Don't do as one victim did recently and post it, without proof of posting. They then received a CCJ because the CCBC couldn't find it. Email every time as you then have a traceable communication.3 -
nice and on the actual N180 form where it says "You must sign this form"
Do you have to physically sign it, or can you just type your name as a signature?0 -
If you've downloaded the form as a pdf and you are filling it in on your computer using something like Adobe, you should be able to scan a copy of your signature and then paste it into the document. If you're filling out the form by hand, just sign it and then scan it as a pdf and attach it to your email.sunnyb13 said:nice and on the actual N180 form where it says "You must sign this form"

There are many ways to skin this cat.1 -
N180 submitted. Do I need to start prepping a WS yet?0
-
No harm in preparing for it. It will probably be months away when you get a hearing date at your local court and your WS and evidence probably have a deadline of 14 days before the hearing date.sunnyb13 said:N180 submitted. Do I need to start prepping a WS yet?
Also, by not rushing it, there is a possibility that the Claimant will show you theirs first, in which case, you have a slight advantage and may be able to make amendments to yours before submission.1 -
17th January you posted - "Defence submitted yesterday and auto acknowledgement received "
If WS necessary in the future can you let us know what the Defence stated.2 -
below is the defence just on point 3 really
