I still have a draw full of Ryvita. I've not bought any food or drink since back back at work, so that is very good! The office Christmas treat stash has depleted, but I still have a lot in my draw and more at home that I will probably bring here in due course.
We had a networking breakfast this morning, so I didn't have lunch, I opted instead for repeatedly picking up yet another pastry. I have had to undo the zip on my skirt! But not spent a penny, so it's all good!0 -

Hi
Please may I join this challenge. Buying from my employer's canteen is my weak spot.
Even though the canteen is subsidised I am spending way too much money there.
For January I have 12 working days and intended to take lunch for 8 of them. Part of this will be using up the items in my food cupboards and fridge freezer and on Saturday evenings making 4 packed lunches to put in freezer.

I've been very quiet on this challenge so far because I haven't been back in the office yet. The train strikes scuppered my plans last week, this week I've been on annual leave, and next week I'm attending a (virtual) conference which will be done from home. My challenge starts from 23rd Jan2

I'm back after a week away.
I am working away again next week and have bought bits and pieces to take away with me, enough so I won't need to buy anything.
I have 2 weeks of not having to go away after that so then I can get a bit more imaginative and hopefully eat a little healthier.

The thread has been really quiet for the last week. I went all week without buying any take out lunches. I have a week at home next week and I really need to start eating healthier so I have salads to make for the week.Total debt when my journey began in December 2022- £66,133.42

2 weeks in and still sticking to taking food with me and staying away from burgers. Friday was hard as I was driving back from Great Yarmouth and was really wanting a McDonalds, I probably had to drive past about a dozen on the way home. I did resist.
Nothing to see here, move along.1 -
I've been pretty quiet on this thread but only 2 meal deals this month (both last week due to being too tired to plan the shopping properly). Mix of salads, soups and sandwiches
