  • Great to have you on board FlacosFloozie.

My grocery shop will be delivered this afternoon and I've added little bits and pieces that I can take away with me to work so I have no plans on spending on any lunches while I'm away this week.

  • Just made some beef sandwiches for myself and DH to take to work tomorrow. I'll be more adventurous when I have a couple of weeks working within travelling distance from home .

I'd like to join please, end of November through December I was going to Tesco to get the meal deal 4/6 times a week. Working out at £13.60 a week... :hushed:

I went shopping to stop having freezer tapas! So I'm going to make a meal plan and cook my first work lunch for tomorrow!

Welcome @BlueJ94. Its scary how all them lunches out add up and they are't as tasty and fresh as something you've made yourself.

    Yup I totally agree!

As we speak I’m currently making a chicken curry with noddles, I’ve even added peppers even though I hate them but trying to eat better!

Food is made and ready for the next two days! Gives me 2 days to come up with ideas for the next meals. Photo proof to keep myself accountable

  • I'm trying to lose some lbs so I'm taking a lunch with me but really need to get a bit more adventurous than ham rolls.

The problem is with my job is I'm out all day long and there is a lot of easy temptation out there; supermarkets, fast food places, pubs etc. Sometimes it can be difficult to ignore the little vioce in your head!
Nothing to see here, move along.
  • Took a flask of decaf  to work and a wee bottle of milk. Plenty of milk left so I’ve left it at work for tomorrow.  Dayshift tomorrow so it’s gammon salad sandwiches for lunch.
    I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged
  • Can you believe it!!!I made my sandwiches last night and left them in the fridge. When I leave home the beginning of the week, I'm trying to remember everything so I need to make myself a check list foe next time.
On the bright side I did remember bags of crisps, noodle pots etc for the rest of the week.

    I forgot my PJ's too!!!

  • Train strikes this week mean no office days for me, but more time to plan what I’ll take with me when I do go in next!
