    Jars of Robinson's mincemeat, also 10%, not quite as cheap as the Sainsbury's ones, but still worth having, phoned my mum and bought 2

  • Good price on the gift wrap but its the very thin stuff I notice.
    Also since they've removed the plastic wrapping the rolls are nearly always damaged so you lose a couple of inches from the start

    In Aldi today:
     2 x Disney branded book boxes- RRP £14.99 !!! No idea what Aldi were charging, says warning small pieces in box (none!) but @ 49 pence each I won't complain.
    Men's Aldi Christmas jumper: 99 pence
    cute Santa/elf dog coat- 99 pence
    Lacura spa gift set- 99 pence

    No seasonal food at all
    Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

    Co-op had 75% off Christmas goodies last night: boxes of standard mince pies for 25p, Christmas cake bar slabs for 69p and medium sized fully iced Christmas cakes for £2:

    Voted best Christmas cake for those without a sweet tooth by GH magazine which is pretty strange given it's covered with icing and marzipan  :D.
