I'd like to join in please.  I tend to make an effort to do this as and when so it'll be nice to get some discipline back into it.
To those who are given much, much is expected

£2025 in 2025 = £680.60
Food Budget £180/9.30.
Fiver Friday #13 £35
1. Could I join in this year too please?
2. Please may I join? I’ll have been lurking around the MSE forum for 10 years soon so about time I got more involved.  Having cleared massive debt between 2012 and 2017 then paying off our mortgage in 2018 I’m in the very fortunate position to start saving at last.

I aim to PAD every day and then move the money to my £1 a day challenge monthly. Hoping to hit £1k by Christmas 2023.

PS How do I add stuff below my posts to reflect progress etc?

Oooh I'm so excited that new people are joining us 🤗 and you're all welcome @sams247, @Taking_back_control and @Sallyforth. If you have any PADs to declare before this thread officially starts on Sunday, then you can post them on the current thread, and we'll count it in 2022's overall total, https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5590353/payment-a-day-chapter-18#latest.

Massive congratulations on being debt and mortgage free @Sallyforth, that's an exceptional achievement 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾! To update your signature, go to your profile icon and click on 'edit profile'

Then on the left hand side of the profile page, there is a list of options, and if you then click on 'signature settings' it will allow you to write your signature to track your progress.

You can highlight whatever text you want in bold or italics etc. If you want to add coloured font to whatever you write, you will need to state the colour beforehand in brackets (spelt the American way as 'color') with an = and then the colour you want, and then the following text will be that colour. An example from my signature where The Burden Restart Tracker is in blue:
THE BURDEN RESTART TRACKER:-

Whereas, the opening of my signature has 3 different colours of red, orange and green at different parts in the same sentence, so I typed the colour in brackets as above , but then added a closed brackets after the relevant words , so that only the words in between the brackets is a different colour:

[B]Debt Tracking Restart Take 2 from 01/08/2022= £22,182.54 (8 creditors)  So, on 28/12/2022 = £6,608.69/£22,182.54 (5 creditors) = 29.79% repaid Aiming to be Debt Free = 31/12/2024

Hopefully that helps you or anyone else that might need it. I think you have to have been on the forum for a specific period of time/made a few posts to be able to add a signature, but I'm not sure how accurate that information is in terms of time/posts, so just try and see what you can do 😁. Having the accountability of a signature really helps with whatever your goals are... x

Welcome aboard! Sounds like you're on a roll @bigjeffbased on your signature, well done you. And it's great to have a solid plan @outoftheviciouscircle, you'll make a lot of progress that way. I'm aiming for that challenge next month as well.

7. Mind if I join as well? I’ve been working out a debt snowball strategy for the coming year and I’d love a place to post progress and cheer others on. ☺️ Thank you!

Of course you can join @JingsMyBucket, the more the merrier! Good luck with your debt snowball, it really does help to be focussed and amongst like minded people. PADding helped me to pay off thousands this year, and I'm sure it'll help you too. Everyone is so friendly as well as supportive, so that's a lovely bonus  🤗.
