This lovely Radley bag for a tenner. It’s in good condition and quite big 10 x 11 inches. It would have been rude not to.

Lovely bag @Potternerd. I had a mooch around our local CSs at lunchtime. Even went in the Everything £1 Scope shop which I never go in as it's pretty slim pickings. Didn't get anything but was tempted by a Mia and Tui cerise handbag with removable inner bag for £6.50 in CR. The bag itself looked clean enough inside and out but the corners had gone, so I left it, as wouldn't be able to resell for much more.
Saw a nice navy/white midi dress for me in PDSA. I left it but might get it on Saturday if it's still there. It's only from Tu but was £6.99 - a bit steep - I'm getting really tight in my old age!Cross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings5 -
I'm on a chazzer famine right now... I had some surgery 2 weeks ago & can't drive until next weekend, so while I'm off work I am consoling myself with car boot envy and plotting the route for the Great Chazzer Charabanc Excursion 😁2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Perhaps you could console yourself with a bit of online charity shopping? My favourite is Oxfam, especially for the books but I got a lovely Monsoon top there once.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I hope you're up and about soon Floss and the surgery was nothing too serious
Chaz famine here too. The prices round me are getting out of hand - I'm seeing them charging above full price for stuff more and more so I'm leaving them to it. Very reluctantly.I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.8 -
I just read that there was a fire above the Hamlet Court Road HARP (homeless charity) store last weekend in Westcliff-on-Sea. They urgently need donations as a lot of things were damaged. Hmm, I am not sure what I have as I just dropped off a couple of donation bags over the past few weeks. I might look around my house again as there probably are things I could donate to them. I might go and drop it off at one of their other shops tomorrow.

Week long chazza famine here too! Broken today with a £1 find of a tan leather belt in the community chazza. High hopes of some boot sale bargains tomorrow….😁6

Finally starting on moving Himself's clothes almost a year on. The sunlight means line drying is easy & the charity shop staff are so nice about me lugging in bags of fresh-washed line-dried stuff. (They can smell.) Some of his t shirts will be donated next I'm south at mum's - I don't want to see them locally.. Age Concern are open Every Single Day this Bank Holiday weekend! (And taking donations daily. No excuses.)10
