C_J said:Younger daughter phoned her older sister on New Year's Eve with the command to "get down to the Oxfam Superstore immediately!". Turns out they had a whole stack of brand-new-with-tags Zara clothing at excellent prices. Older daughter treated herself to a lovely brand new coat for £20, which retails at £149 in the Zara online sale so she's happy.6

George BNWT summer dress, floor length (and some if you’re 5.2 so will need taking up). It’s navy with white stars and spaghetti straps in light fabric (viscose?). I think it was donated cos the sizing is wrong. It says it’s an 8 but no way am I an 8 especially with the crimbo lard. £3

Yet another Hobbs find today….a pair of black slimfit ankle grazer trousers, as new, £7.99 and a pair of Hotter, Mary Jane* type shoes in a dark tan colour, b/n £4.99 both from the St Gemma’s Hospice shop.* Used to think this style was really fuddy duddy…funny how your ideas change as you get older….now I think “Oooooh they look comfy”
. (Just hope they don’t suffer from crumbling sole syndrome!)
Sorry for the big pics, never have managed to work out how to reduce them10 -
My Mum has had some health problems lately and not been out much, so I had been looking for a jigsaw puzzle we could sit and do together in the evenings. I found this for £1, retails BN at £11.99:

DH picked up a couple of pairs of trousers at the local Cancer Research CS at the weekend but unfortunately one pair didn't fit so needed to take them back so while there I browsed the ladies section to see if I could find any trousers for myself and found a pair of Monsoon navy trousers for £2 and they fit. Really pleased as they actually have front pockets! Nearly all my trousers only have pockets on the back which is ridiculous - where am I supposed to put my tissue?

Very happy with my haul 😊
