Yesterday resulted in some useful bits. An excellent quality embroidery hoop (brand new £2) and 2 decorated kilner style 1l bottles (£2.50 in total) and two books with gin cocktails/info (£2.50 in total) which may become presents.

This afternoon's haul: a polka dot long sleeved blouse from La Redoute for £1, a Store Twenty One turquoise lightly quilted belted jacket for £2 (never heard of this brand but a quick Google tells me it's not cheap) and 4 books for £1. Happy days

A couple of balls of yarn at £1 each (PDSA) and a work cardi, £3.49, BHF. Both just what I wanted.

Store 21 was a discount high street brand that went into liquidation in about 2017

So it must be several years old now. When I Googled it it led me to another website selling puffer jackets for £99 £50 which made me think the coat was pricier than it must have been. Its not going to detract from my enjoyment wearing it though!

I had a bit of a mooch today, and came home with a Monsoon pale pink merino wool jumper, a Crea Concept merino jumper dress, a Wallis navy linen sweater with white floral print, a charcoal floaty top with a pleated back and 2 scarves (blues & cream/pink)

I found a gorgeous blue jumper today for £3.75 in Sue Ryder. The make is given as Zeeox and I can't find anything about them, but I love it so that's all right.

One charity shop I went into, I overheard an assistant saying how overwhelmed they were with donations locally, and in another they were literally having to bin things. I asked what was the matter (thinking broken etc?) but it was simply about space and saleability - so if you live near me and are looking for items for young children, send me a pm and I'll let you know where. The staff member I spoke to said I could have them if I wanted but it wasn't stuff I could use.
