There is a community shop in an area I sometimes go, and where I donate.
Popped in whilst waiting for the bus onwards. Two small Pyrex bowls; 25p each. The right size for microwave single portions. They've not got as much as usual; seem to have a lot of books and clothes and less random stuff like sports gear, kids clothes and kitchen gear.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing9 -
Love the Radley bag @Potternerd!
I've made a couple of small purchases in the past couple of days, hardly worth writing about really : a BNIB tasselled green leather keyring in one of my daughter's initials, and a new, sealed box of printed carboard spoons called "Table Talk" which are supposed to be dinner party conversation starters. Both of these were just 50p each, and perfect to go in the Advent Calendars I make for each of my daughters every year.7 -

@Frith, you mean you didn't buy it for us?
It's not one I'm familiar with but I do like it. A bit of searching and I think it's called 'Studio'. Now I've found two other hitherto new-to-me Denbys to get interested in: Applemouse and Savoy (and it's all your fault).

@Frith excellent spot! Plates are always an endangered species as if the pattern is used they are amongst the first victims (fondly counts, yes, 5, 5 6 - um, you can rather see where accidents have happened!). Studio was made 1963 until 1974 and is in the same shapes as Ode (a sort of old gold & white) & Echo (blue with white stripes)
Some Denbyholic will be falling on them with cries of glee unless the shop is after some serious cash.

I've had a good week at the chazzers. On Sunday I visited my favourite, bought a bolero suitable for wearing over work dresses instead of a jacket in the summer, a smart cream blouse with a lace trim, a skirt from Nightingales (a brand I have never heard of) BNWT and one other item which I now can't recall all for £10. But best of all I bought what I thought was a Philips slimline CD player to use in the kitchen for £25 where I can sing along without causing a local disturbance. Not only is the sound quality beautiful, but it is so much more than a CD player - a clock, DAB player and the option to stream from digital sources. I have yet to figure out all the functions but am going to have fun trying.

Then I nipped into a local chazzer just before closing during the week, and nabbed 3 books for £1, a pair of embroidered jeans for x£2, 2 scarves for £1 and a blouse for £1. £5 well spentNo man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.8 -
Popped into a CS I haven't visited before on Thursday. Picked up a linen summer dress from Next, as new and a brand new navy scarf with silver thread running through it. £6.48 spent. Staff we're really friendly and chatty. Will defiantly visit again.7
