Have been laid up for a few days with a bad leg so delighted to get out yesterday and find:
A small tan Fossil crossbody bag for £6. I had realised the need for this when struggling with crutches and a shoulder bag.
A 500 mil bottle of Soap and Glory Clean On Me shower cream for £2. I was trying to use up toiletries before buying any more, but this was a bargain and one of my favourites.8 -
Will do Rosa. I'd not heard of him before but the book does look interesting. Funny+factual will always get my moneyI'm unsure about my spine, I think it's holding me back.4

Popped into our local air ambulance shop yesterday which isn’t the cheapest but does get some surprises in there. This time we were very lucky and found 2 identical glass lamp shades (£16 the pair). We’ve had ‘nice but not quite right’ shades up since the replastering last year. We’re keeping the old shades to reuse elsewhere but here are the new ones. Ignore the bare plaster! That’s getting painted in the next few weeks (finally)✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Did the rounds of both Northallertonn and Thirsk today. Cancer Research in N’allerton - got a BNWT silk cap sleeved top, M & S, bias cut in khaki for £5, Original price £24. Got just the skirt for it! Thought I had another nice find from the Sue Ryder shop - a black Jaegar jersey dress priced at £15. Could not be bothered to try it on as a cold and wet day and I was dressed resembling a Yeti. Sadly too big so will have to go back tomorrow ☹️
Love the Hobbs dress!7 -
I've been out of action for the last week or so, due mainly to the weather here so apologies for missing any significant posts.
I've read the Jon Ronson book Rosa and found it a very quick read but that the advice given seemed sound so I'd be interested to hear your opinion once you've had time to "inwardly digest".
