I got an unread copy of Trinny Woodall's new book Fear Less for £2 in my local Mind shop today, along with a Laura Ashley reversible down gilet (ideal for wfh) for £4. I also found Rick Stein's Road to Mexico in the Children's Society bookshop for £2.75, to go with all his other books on my shelf. It was the only one I didn't have - there was a marital copy that the ex nabbed.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Yea verily the CS gods have smiled on me:
M and S black, heavyweight, tailored, wide leg trousers £5. Short so exactly the right length. These are totally what I have been looking for since the wide leg trouser wish came upon me. I’m planning to style with white tee and denim jacket, or white shirt and with white trainers.
Also M and S khaki shoulder bag with coral strap £4
And rose gold twisty bobble/scrunchie £1.

Had a fun 5 mins in a chaz I've not been to for a while this lunchtime, before it closed at 2pm. Unbeknown to me it was Black Friday week, the 4 tops I bought were 50p each (I kid you not) and the dress was half price so just £2.25.
I resisted the books in the next chazzer along as although they have some good titles, they are consistently ridiculously priced (I would kick myself if I later found them for 25p a piece elsewhere, as I will eventually). I did however relent at the final chaz in the vicinity and bout 3 books as all looked brand new, for £1 each.
A total spend of £7.25 will bring a lot of pleasure, just as soon as we have another mild and dry day so I can get my new garments laundered and air dried. Unlikely to happen this week as I understand the UK is bracing itself for a cold snap at the end of the month. No man is worth crawling on this earth.

It wasn't a charity shop today, but a Christmas fayre for The Cornerstone charity shop I'm always going in!
I got a (medium sized) mango Yankee candle and two bath bombs for £7.
They did have lots of nice Body Shop hand lotions, but I just bought a hand lotion the other day and I have about 3 more at home!2025 GOALS

I think I’m finally over the bout of Covid I had last week so time to check back in with the last 2 successful forays to the cs’s around here.
The long black jacket/cardigan is a St M’s from the Sally Army shop. It’s 50% merino so I’m hoping will be warm, (£3.50). The ¾ length coat was from Air Ambulance and is a 100% wool, vintage I believe, Classic Woman, (£8).
In the other photo is a 100% linen M0nsoon top from Age UK, (£3.99) and a vintage Kangol angora beret, (£5) from the SA.
All I need now is a house and some wardrobes to hang everything in. 🤣🤣

Never posted here before, but found an amazing bargain in Oxfam today. Bought a 45 litre plastic box rammed to the top with magna-tiles for £12.99. 48 pieces retail at about £45 new and I have got way over 300 pieces! All perfect condition. Kids were quiet for 4 hours playing with it all!2025 decluttering: 3,993🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅
