Yesterday I ditched 4 full bags. Came home with two novels I'd been looking for for 2.50, a black Next jumper that will go with everything in my winter wardrobe for 3.50, replacement swim trunks for DS whose old ones are looking like hot pants on him now 1.49, a big ball of chunky grey yarn for a couple of warm snoods 2 quid, a cute wall sign that matches my living room another 2 quid, 50p wax melts (lavender and cedar that DH loves), chopping board for £1, and a new curtain for £1. Oh and some cute pink sheep slipper socks, already half-inched by 11 year old DS despite them being very girly. He's presently so warm in them that he can only wear pants with them, bless him! Curtain might not stay as a bit short for where I planned for it to go.
I can't figure out how to add pics in the app, sorryMarried 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

Alas, drizzly weather here this morning so I'm not attempting the Bedale car boot, if indeed it's running. Probably not since I seem to have bought half of it last week... I might get to Thirsk later.
I'm going to start the end of summer sort out and put some things away till spring. This doesn't create space as I then want the winter jumpers out, and they're far more bulky. I did put a last year's charity shop find to good use yesterday: a rather nice cardigan that had a small hole in one shoulder came to me on the first chilly day of autumn last year when I didn't have anything suitable with me on holiday. The shoulder repaired almost perfectly and I wore it over a summer dress yesterday to create a new and unexpected outfit. Goes to show that a swap round and a try on session can make an existing wardrobe go further.
My mission today is to go through the two boxes of yarn that I've not yet searched for oddments of aran. I have a wrist warmer pattern that I want to try and local charity shops just don't seem to have aran. And talking of yarn, what lovely set of finds, @goldfinches. Are you up for making a Kaffe Fasset? It's beyond my skill level but they're gorgeous.
The Bedale booty was small but well attended today in the drizzle! Didn’t get much just a couple of botanical framed prints for £1, a couple of Jo Malone dupe candles for £5 and an extension cable thingy for £1.50. Did hop over the road to the Herriot Hospice chazza and got a pair of Coast black 7/8th trousers with a gold side zip and small side split for £5.99. Then did Woodfield in the afternoon and got a nice pair of M & S black patent leather ballet pumps for £3.50 perfect to go with the trousers.
Didn’t need the Repair Cafe after all as The Bloke redeemed himself by rewiring on an an old foot presser thingy from his Man Shed which has got the overlocker going at least. Downloaded the instruction book so now have to attempt threading the blooming thing up. (Sigh!)

If I'd have known there were Coast trousers in the offing, I might have gone to Bedale despite the rain!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Second that @Cherryfudge. A word of advice @Miro make sure you start with the thread from the far right and work towards the left hand one otherwise it becomes impossible to thread correctly to get it overlocking.

I bought an Oasis dress yesterday for just £2, although it fits perfectly it looks like I will have to wait until next summer to wear it! (Image from FleaBay).
