Shop Charity in '23!

Miró said:Passing by the 'Brain Tumour Charity' shop today I could not resist calling in and came away with a burgundy Autograph cashmere sweater in excellent condition for £6. Then into the BHF shop where they had another pair of the tartan trousers that I got a few weeks ago. Different tartan and different style - this pair are slightly bootleg stylee and have the zip fastener in the centre back which I find most odd! Is this really a thing? They are brand new, overlocked hems but not stitched in place, and appear to have been tailor made. There is a label inside which states 'Tailoring by Gently' and another large label that stretches across inside by the tum! Apparently this firm makes bespoke shooting outfits and plus fours!
I could not resist buying them at £8 and as I was shoving them in my bag I realised the aforesaid cashmere sweater is a perfect match for one of the colours in the tartan.. I would love to know how they ended up in the chazza? Were they made for some grande 'Lady' of one of the big Yorkshire shooting estates?

@Potternerd, that denim dress is just waiting to be dressed up/dressed down and have a myriad of variations played out in styling it. Rather like a Wooland item.
@Miró, I'm intrigued by the trousers and the jumper is lovely, a real classic that should be around for a long time to come.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

A smallish black leather Lloyd Baker backpack £5
A BNWT sage green £2.50 M&S bra/crop top £2.50
A bag of stuff donated.
Thoughts on this moral dilemma please. New bag means I will be donating a couple back to CS one of which is a Radley crossbody. Is it wrong to take the little dog off and keep it?7 -
No. The bag is yours and you can do whatever you like with it. Someone will still want it. As I prefer cats to dogs I would be more than happy to buy the bag without the little dog.6

I popped into my favourite BHF shop at lunchtime today and found four books which for some reason I can't show you as the attach photo function isn't working. Anyway I bought BBC Good Food Cakes and Bakes £1, Donna Leon's Give Unto Others £2, HG Wells The War of the Worlds Everyman Edition £2 and Gerald Seymour's In Honour Bound in hardback for £2.50.
I was able to attach a photo over on the GC thread so I came back here to see if I could add my photo and lo and behold it worked this time, weird."She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."

Some great buys there - particularly love @Miró's new outfit
I got a BNWT Jasper Conran mens washbag for £4.99 in Oxfam. Was thinking of gifting it on for Christmas or selling for charity on Bay of E but DH wants it (although "it's a bit big")....!
Also got a White Stuff scarf from PDSA - £1.49 and a blush pink bone china cake plate for £1 in St Christopher's Hospice shop.
Sold the Denby blue wave mug on Bay of E for £7.99 plus postage - only paid £1.49 for it so a little bit made. It all adds up
