Yay…back on the merry-go-round of chazza shopping!

From Otley, got a pair of Hotter loafers in tan from the BHF shop, b/n £15, (rrp £75) and super comfy. Also picked up 2 b/n M & S white t-shirts, one fitted & one straight for 99p each from the St Gemma’s 99p shop.

I went into the Havens Hospice shop on Leigh Road today. It isn't the cheapest shop at all, but everything is high quality in there. I saw some things in there that I had donated to them the other day! I got a blue John Lewis jumper and a pair of stretch skinny jeans and a blue necklace. That all came to £20. Their card machine had stopped working so luckily I had the correct cash.8

I popped into the BHF shop today on the way home from a museum visit with friends and snapped up an America's Test Kitchen cookbook and a jigsaw of the Great Wall of China, both are currently drying out in the airing cupboard so no photos yet.

I really like the £1 charity shops local to me, although they're getting busier and it's tougher to find a bargain.
I've noticed more how grabby people can be.
Although I did get a pair of short wellies for £1.Decluttering campaign 2023

There are charity shops in Coventry town centre but the 3 I visited were overpriced.OTOH I totted up how much I spent in chazzers from September to the first week of October and it came to nearly £200
. After I washed the heated overblanket I bought for £12 I put it away with my heated underblanket....only to find that I had already bought one from the same place for £10. A long ceramic dish from Midwinter 'Riviera' 1960s range by Sir Hugh Casson. Oxfam find. eBay prices verging on expensive now.7

Here are the book, £3.50, and the jigsaw, £1.50, that I bought yesterday. I haven't been anywhere today due to the appalling weather so nothing else interesting to report.

I'm pretty sure I'd end up buying it back again, thinking it's a good idea. That goes some way to explaining my 3 cherry pittersFloss said:
