The Laura Ashley one might be a keeper, it's pure lovely. Not a mark on it, fully silk-lined, proper pockets

I only bought it cos it was a bargain, I really didn't need it. When I look in my wardrobe there are plenty there that are v-e-r-y similar..... I like a certain length/fit/colour combo and a lot of my wardrobe falls into that category. I could prolly give away half and not be lacking....

I would definitely keep the Laura Ashley. It's lovely and I think you would probably regret it if you return it.

I was planning to wait until then, but now don't have to - the electronic copy is in circulation! I am not in the slightest bit bothered by books in random order as I am happy to take my pick, scanning through a shelf doesn't take that long at all.

I've been sent (unsolicited!) a copy...

I'm another who doesn't feel the need to alphabetise chazzer bookshelves, I did enough of that when working in libraries as a teenager (and having family bookshelves of alpha fiction & Dewey nonfiction due to librarian parents).

Lovely little 'find' today in Cancer Research: a little jug with a transfer print that matches some 1950s china I inherited. I can't quite work out why the print is identical but other details aren't, I can only guess the company updated the design but kept the basic look. It was £2.50 which was an added bonus.

Bought 3 paperback books in Oxfam bookshop this week whilst in London. Paid £2.99 each eeeeeekkkkk! They are like new though and it's for charity after all. Just feels like a lot of money.

London charity shops are so expensive, the ones closest to my work are in Pimlico and they are horrendous price wise, although my local one had a Barbour jumper on the racks and that was £30.00. It wasn’t in the best condition either .

I did pop into the charity shop furniture store again as decluttering and tidying has made me want some matching plates as I have all mismatched plates and all in different sizes. There was a nice black and white Royal Doulton dinner set for £25 but it was far too much for just the two of us. I was going to ask if I could just buy the plates but they were laid out on a table as a set so I doubt they would have wanted the set broken up.

I am going to go out and look in a few different shops tomorrow or next week.
