Warm Home Discount (£150) if the energy account is not in the qualifying persons name

Hi MSE team, 
The home Energy account used to be under my mums name (w/British Gas) but about a year or so ago the Winter payments went direct into her bank account and as the energy was cheaper elsewhere I switched it into my name so that I can move with the best deal. However, we received letter (Nov 2022) about the £150 automatic help with energy costs letter from HM Gov and now feel that we will miss out on the £150 as the energy account is no longer in my mums name. Did anyone else have this issue and anything we can do?
