I'll post the form tomorrow too. What a nightmare, I don't like the idea of getting a CCJ when I've done everything they've asked. They've only given me 7 days to get the form to them and the letter was dated the 8th of August. It's really stressing me out.
When you post it from a post office counter don't forget to ask for a Certificate of Posting or Proof of Posting (whatever it is called this week).  With that proof of posting it is deemed delivered two working days later.

I logged into the MCOL website to check if there's been any updates and they still haven't actually acknowledged that my DQ has been received even though it was delivered and signed for on 14/08/2025.

I take it they just haven't gotten around to it?

It's almost funny how difficult it is to submit a simple questionnaire.

Take a screenshot and send it as a PDF (not jpeg) attached to a complaint to the case progression email with 'Unprocessed Documents' and the Claim Number in the subject line.

And just a reminder even though this is stressful: while your case is quiet, before the end of next week please please do the government's Public Consultation.

As I mentioned before, we need every poster to come back & complete this vital Consultation before the deadline.

    See this thread: -

We understand that you may need some pointers. It looks laborious, we get that. It doesn't matter; no knowledge is needed except re your own experiences so you can call out a scam industry and you'll protect millions of motorists and help change the law.

I've written some guidance on that thread. I have covered almost every question, providing ideas if you agree with our stance on things like DRFs, which we say must be banned.

Ordinary people like you are falling victim to this scam 15 million times per annum. Motorists need your voice added please!

  • I finally have a date set for mediation on the 26th of September. How likely is it that I'll get a court hearing this year?

It just occurred to me that there's 2 days in November that I've made plans but didn't include them in my DQ. Is there a way to add those days on now or has that ship sailed?

I doubt that it will be this year,  but it's an unknown to us court near you that you will be nominating,  so I assume that it could be in say 6 months or so

Add what you like, but I would concentrate on December onwards

Wait till after the waste of time Mediation call, then in early October you'll get a Notice of Allocation saying that the file is going to your local court. That's the week to email a fresh DQ adding more unavailable dates from November right through to March.

    FIGHTBACK ALERT:

    THE DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED

Younay have done this already? It's hard to know who has or hasn't so forgive me:

I just had my mediation call with a very friendly mediator, in a very professional and unbiased way you might say was sympathetic.

Essentially the very least they'd offer to end it today was £135 and all they wanted was a yes or no answer. I decided in the spirit of mediation to offer £60 and to put to them my defence that the IPC CoP says they must have prominent additional signs saying that the tariff has changed for no less than 4 months.

They argued that because this happened in 2022 there were no actual guidelines to say it had to be anything longer than "7 days". I seem to remember that there wasn't actually any timeline stated just that it should be reasonable? I forget the actual wording maybe someone does remember? I just looked back at their actual wording it was "an appropriate period".

I do feel a little shaky when it comes to my chances at court, I feel like the onus is going to be on me to convince the judge otherwise. What problems am I likely to run into?

Also if I lose at court what am I likely going to owe? It sounded like it'd be over £300

Thanks again for all the help I've received so far, it's been invaluable and I really appreciate it.

If you got to a hearing and lost, you'd pay LESS than the claim.

    Don't lose your confidence!

Remind us which solicitor and which PPC and preferably also please edit the thread title to state who you are fighting and the fact you are defending a claim.
