Lady at out local post office - this is just a rumour but based on what she has heard - has indicated the Royal Mail are planning extended strikes. for many more months.

There have been no more strike dates announced but the CWU (their union) is balloting workers in the next month or two, to allow them to call further strike action.

    Wouldn't surprise me.
Went from 1 day to 2 day strikes, only a matter of time before new dates with longer duration are announced.
Look at the train staff, they are now up to 5 day long strike periods.

Issue for RM  is nothing to inconvenience folk re strike dates like they've just done in the run up to Christmas.

Somehow, with in the region of 100 eBay parcels sent out from mid Nov upto Xmas, all but 3 turned up so feel pretty lucky and buyers have all been very patient when querying where their parcels are. The 3 that went missing were sent late Nov I've refunded those ebayers in full and hopefully those parcels don't turn up so I can put in claims as soon as it's an option - none cost me too much (£50ish in total).

I had three parcels not turn up (posted late November) and therefore had 3 INRs and three refunds

Have since heard from 2 of them that the parcel arrived and offering to post me a cheque or pay by paypal F and F

    Third one still in transit

I've had the opposite experience, posted parcels on Weds and Thurs (2nd class) , which arrived on Friday and today respectively!

I ended all my listings in December to avoid delivery problems. Are now sellers finding items are arriving or are there still delivery  problems?

I know I’m asking for trouble….but I had very few issues, although I did close my account between 13th-23rd December and they are currently closed as I’m away.

An issue that might face many private sellers though is that there hasn’t been and FVF offers for coming up to a month now so BIN listings will revert to renewing without offers. I know many private sellers only sell when they fees are cheaper, so if people start ending listings in the next week or so it might give business sellers and those private sellers who list regardless of offers a better chance of selling, and that’s always a good thing.
