Happy Christmas everyone! Hope you all have a lovely, peaceful day.
Some small decluttering done here, bits of baking stuff used up. this year we've also finished off a lot of Christmas wrappings, so will need to carefully consider what should be bought in the sales - hopefully just enough for next Christmas when we can then do the same.14 -
Merry Christmas everyone 🎄🎅 ,hope you have a peaceful day however you spend it. I'm back in bed with a cuppa and enjoying 5 minutes peace. DD awake at 4am and did not go back to sleep as so excited. Everyone was up at 6:30am including the teens. A lot of wrapping paper and packaging already decluttered to bin bags and recycling.
@Liverpool_Anne hope you feel better soon and test negative so can resume some of your planned activities.16 -
Good morning. Just popping I'm to say Merry Christmas everyone 🎄🎅🤶
I'll be ready for tonight. Yesterday was no quieter. Tea at the PIL, they do buffet tea for the kids then I was still wrapping at 1 this morning and probably only sleeping 4-5 hours the last few nights, there's actually a couple of presents not wrapped yet as I couldn't see any longer to write the tags.
There was a few things left while clearing yesterday bur all I remember are 3 money wallets all from different packs used up and packaging thrown (I use 3 every year from a pack and the 4th just seems to sit in the wrapping bag) and a very expensive (when I bought it) breastpump, my youngestis 14!. I'd took it out of the cupboard months ago with intention of cleaning and selling it but seen a post on FB asking if anyone had one for a baby in SCBU. As it'll probably just sit there I offered it and they collected almost straight away.
DS2 is now up so going to wake the others. Have a fantastic day everyone.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Hi all, just popping in to say I hope everyone has a lovely day. Just having my first cuppa before I get going.
@Brie, meant to say the comment about Wikipedia is hilarious, especially about being cited in an academic paper.
Take care everyone

Merry Christmas!
The two of us just had xmas dinner. I cooked most of it in the air fryer so it was incredibly quick to make this year! I am having apple pie with vanilla ice cream as we don't like the traditional Christmas desserts.
I am making up a donation bag already ready for when the chazzers reopen.11 -
Merry Christmas everyone! 🎄🎄🎄 I hope everyone has had a good day and those who have been feeling poorly are on the mend.
I had a busy Christmas Eve and Christmas morning and have spent the afternoon having a super-nap! I still feel pretty spaced out so we've decided to defer Christmas dinner until tomorrow. Gnocchi & veggie meatballs is now on the menu instead of a roast dinner 😂

Merry Christmas declutterati chums. I hope everyone had a day that suited them and those of us with troubles had an easier day.
@ Energy Shifter, glad to hear someone else changes the food feast. We have our turkey or other bird on Christmas Eve as the day itself is busy with phone calls from DS and DD and the DGCsand this year with DH and his foot in a boot I’m busier than normal. He is more mobile in the house, no walker , but the fracture is not healing (age), but patience and resilience are our watchwords. So the meal was very MSE, a turkey with Mr L app discount and it was fine - a small one so no problem to cook and no frills.I’m glad I hit my 365 challenge as I’ve done little since.Mrs SD , thank you for your excellent cheer leading and positive messages, and also thanks to all you chums - I really enjoyed reading all your posts. All the best, everyone for 2024, take care, and I look forward to reading all the decluttering posts next year.Mrs SD, thanks for keeping the train going next year and can I please sign up for 366 in 2024.Hugs everyone xx16 -
Happy Christmas 🎄
I had eight here for Christmas, the five of us plus my parents and my FIL. I think everyone had a nice day but we’ll be eating bubble and squeak for days as we are normally ten or twelve and it seems I hasn’t adjusted down!
I did manage to get DH to sort out the glass cupboard as we were laying the table last night, glasses listed on freebies tonight, so hopefully they’ll go in the next couple of days.2025 Decluttering Campaign Mrs SD –The joy of decluttering 45.5/104⭐️

I hope you all had a lovely day yesterday and that Boxing Day will be just as good.
All presents now delivered. Gifts received are mainly consumable or useful so I am pleased with them. OH commented that he feels I have done well over the past two years and he can really see the difference. It is such a good feeling to at last see the light at the end of the tunnel.Didn’t find anything to let go of on Sunday. Having a quiet day today to recover from the busyness of the last couple of days, meeting friends tomorrow then a few days of tidying before hosting guests on New Year’s Day. It’s been a few years since I have cooked for anyone else at home so I am looking forward to it but slightly nervous as to whether I will manage without getting too tired. A lot of it can be prepped the day before and I have a booked a sm delivery of veg etc so I don’t have to go out.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅17
