@applepad it was a long time ago now, but was from garden trading co. Looks like they still sell them, but they’re sold out on their website. Lots of other places sell the same brand though. They are lovely, but overpriced.2025 decluttering: 3,925🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Hello Declutterati chums.Thanks so much, Mrs SD for my gold medal . I’m really pleased with myself for getting so far as I’ve been decluttering for some time now. Still lots to go……..
New total, thanks to Moorviews suggestion of tights ! Five pairs in the CS bag. Like You, Moorviews I only wear thick black or grey tights or socks with trousers and then it’s bare kegs till the colder weather comes round again.
The heavy pan was warmly welcomed by the CS with many comments on do you know how much they cost!. This lead to a long conversation on how safety should be a priority reason for choosing items to declutter. Something I will try to remember.
So
5 tights to textile recycling
Total = 310 + 5 = 315/36515 -

@2Scratters
re the gloves....TurtleDoves? Mine are lovely!!!!
I have tons of photos of my cats - will post later
I have fingerless gloves and a neck warmer from T-Doves - & a cashmere cardi that one of the aforementioned cats plucked a hole in the sleeve so I will investigate whether I can send it to them to re-use

Hello
This evening I went through the spice cupboard, the squash cupboard and the fridges (I opted for an under-counter fridge to increase the quantity of worktop I had when I had a new kitchen but soon realised how easy it is for items to get lost as it was difficult to see everything without crouching down. I decided to get rid of the kitchen dresser to make room for a fridge freezer so now I have two fridges).
Cup-a-soup, oatcakes, fruit drops, tubs of fruit cocktail, chicken Oxo (which neither of us can remember buying) to my Mum
Unpleasant low-carb biscuits (passed on by one of the other camp leaders as she didn't like them, neither did the rest of us so I am not sure how they ended up with me) to the bin
OOD crackers, xanthan gum, coconut flour, arrowroot, cheese snacks, raita, soy sauce, 5 jars of herbs, 12 boxes/packets of sugar-free sweets (which must have been breeding), jars of peppers, sun-dried tomatoes and cornichons, 3 bottles of sauce, 9 bottles of squash, an almost-full bottle of generic Irish cream liqueur and some home-made toffee vodka and Christmas cake vodka to the bin
Tropical lemonade and a bottle of cider set aside to be passed on to a friend tomorrow
I also realised we used up 5 tubs of Playdough at Sunday School yesterday - it had started to go hard so I disposed of it at church but have brought the tubs home and washed them so I have containers for home-made dough next time I need it for Sunday School.
I think that makes my total 84.
I would like to say we have WUDUPA today, which is a rare occurrence, inspired by MrsSD!
Tomorrow's plan is to look at the tins cupboard and the tea/coffee cupboard. I don't think I am quite ready to do the baking cupboard yet (double wall cupboard and some of the contents regularly make a bid for freedom).
I should have said that the top shelf of the spice cupboard is now empty apart from a spare tub of salt and one shelf of the under-counter fridge only contains two tubs of dog food (one of the dogs has kidney problems so they can't eat the same food).
I have decluttered almost 2 stone since the beginning of June and, having worn my favourite blouse today, have realised it is very baggy. That shall be washed tomorrow and sent to the CS - won't count it just yet.18 -
OH decluttered a huge spider from bedroom earlier. He normally exaggerates the size of them but this time it was true - the plastic pot we use was only just wide enough to fit all the legs in. I suggested it might like to go to the pub, but OH didn’t want to carry it that far so put it in the front garden. I expect it’ll be back in tomorrow.
More papers gone through this morning and either recycled, shredded or filed. Checked stocks of some food items so I know what we need to use next - we still have plenty of variety so no need to buy anything yet. A few more things brought in from shed put away.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅18 -
Hi all, missed posting last night as we were home quite late from the birthday party and I was too tired to log in. Managed to persuade OH to do some sorting out and got a bag of rubbish out of the bedroom and a bag out of the lr. I am counting them as I did the persuading
. Also decluttered presents, card and wrapping paper as well as a bottle of vodka to the party
.
Today it has been persisting down here. We took ourselves out to look for lamp shades for the hall and landing. We have been looking for quite a while with no luck but today we found some we are both happy with. One frog dealt with. We also got a couple of fold flat small tables. These will replace the old ones we got from the swedish shop years ago that are currently held together with parcel tape. Another thing we have been looking for for quite a long time so another frog eaten
. Now I have replacements for them I can investigate them properly to see if they can be repaired properly as they are useful in various places and easily stored when not in use, or if they are destined for fire wood
The hostess of the party was talking about the tv series the night manager which she really loved so after tea we tracked it down. Luckily it was on the beeb iPlayer so we could get it. I found an email today from bt telling me that the issue with the other player was sorted. It isn't so that will be another phone call tomorrow.
I also tried to speak to my niece who is home from Bequia but no answer so I shall try again tomorrow. I am trying to sort a date when I can see her and as it will involve booking a hotel I really would like to sort it soon.
Off to bed now, so hugs to anybody who would like one
1122 bedroom bin emptied
1123 lr bin emptied
1124 present and card and wrapping paper from stash
1125 bottle of vodka
1126 + 1127 frogs
Take care everyone
