Hi all, not much decluttering done today, a small amount of weeding done before I went out but a lovely evening with friends
. I did have one success though as OH was going to the bank I handed over a cloth bag of change that OH has had sitting on the top of the gas cupboard for about 3 months. There is some sort of change counter machine in OHs bank that you throw coins in and it gives you a receipt that you take to the teller and it is credited to your account. Last time OH tried to use it someone was trying to empty a couple of buckets they had filled for a charity thing and the machine kept jamming so the bag came back home and sat there until today
. I am claiming it as I have had to nag for ages to get it gone
When I got home I have found signs that OH and ln have had gin o'clock and kfc over the fence. Kfc is a particular favourite of ln
Hugs to everyone who would like one
897 money to the bank
Take care everyone

Only 1 item to add to my total today.
Today will be my first day indoors for over 3 weeks - my planned day at home last week didn't happen.
Looks like it won't be too hot today.
Hope the booked boiler man turns up.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

@Florenceem -if I have duplicated this suggestion appologies I am just a bit behind in updating myself.
Stick an advert/appeal for the toilet frame needed, in my local area they are "over generous" with duplicating items when not actually needed and if it has been out for delivery they actually refuse to take it backmore money wasted in the NHS I'll refrain from stepping on my soap box about that one. There may well be someone with one available who will be giving for free.

Got lots of real world work to get on with this week, although not quite planned my day off tomorrow yet. Started looking through some books last night, so I think I'll continue slowly working through them today. It might take me a while as I have some unread, but I need to consider if I will read them or not as well as others acquired from my grandparents with sentimental value that I need to carefully think about. As I went through them, I uploaded each one to an app I downloaded to catalogue my collection. That way I avoid getting duplicates when I see a new book in a second hand shop!I also found a new website which every month posts little decluttering areas to tackle for every day of the month - https://declutteryourlife.co.uk/decluttering/june-little-acts-of-decluttering/. I like this idea for when I get to the end of the big house declutter as I still want to challenge myself to declutter, but it's much harder to see where clutter may be lurking. This is just a fun way to think more deeply about a small area. Today's one is newspapers and magazines. I read the former only online, but I found 3 magazines lurking downstairs which went into recycling. I already decluttered DS's magazines with him and now he doesn't have any more room, so it really will be one in one out for him.I'd like to get to 17,600 today, but I think that might be too high a bar. I'll settle for a minimum of working through two shelves (I have 22 of them to work through!).Digital:

I have put all husband's shoes in 3 large bags and stored those in the RoD; there's no need for them to clutter our shoestand for the next 7 weeks.I have finished all rounds of laundry with husband's clothes in, have folded his clothes and put them in his shelving unit. Tonight I will hang an old (but nice) curtain over it all to prevent it all getting dusty. We live next to the international airport and often have quite a bit of black dust. I dread thinking what it does to our lungs!I had a very pleasant last WI gym session last night: the instructor set up a sort of sport school circuit in the school gym, and at every station we had to lift or push something (a small weight, a balance board, a skipping rope, a large elastic band, etc). It wasn't very heavy, but the repetitive movement did leave the feeling that we had properly worked out.Another 750g of redcurrants frozen.Extractor hood filter (metal) cleaned by putting it in a black bin bag with some washing up liquid and water, and leaving it in the sun for the afternoon. Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.5917

2Scratters - thanks - they are delivering 2 toilet frames on Thursday.
I did put a wanted on Freegle for a rollator with seat as I am worried that Mr F may get tired when out after being in hospital so long. Then I decided to buy one - hopefully it will arrive soon.
DGs J is hard at work painting.
The boiler men have been but need to return as they left the key in and the bottom cover off.
The OT technician has been to look at the work he needs to do on Thursday - says he can get it all done in a day.
I looked at white gloss paint yesterday - some had a 16 hour drying time - if J painted the door at 9 - I wouldn't be able to close it until 11 - I go to bed before that. The paint I bought is a water based one with a shorter drying time.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Morning Peeps,
managed to get some bits out of the back of my car for the CS they must have done 200 miles or more. 3 bags gone. There is still another 3 hopefully "might" get them moved on today.
Got some items down from the loft 3 put onto FB MP other 3 were dresses for this weather. Bag of curtains down and out sat in the car for their journey to the CS. 2 rolls of blown vinyl down and DH has made use of 1 for a job he is doing in the shed.
@Mrs_Salad_Dodger great acronym and Lancaster is my county city.
Have a good week all
