Hi all, just been doing a bit more goat research. I think we might have hit a snag. Plants that are poisonous to goats include azaleas and rhodos, lupins, honeysuckle, fern bracken, foxgloves, and cotoneaster. It occurs to me lots of these are found in 'wild' areas as well as gardens.
@Mrs SD your patio looks lovely, I love your bench and Mr SD did a brilliant job fixing up the trellis. I don't mind watering ln's pots and hanging baskets, she works hard to make them look nice and I get the benefit of looking at them
@Florenceem I am sorry I can't see the picture but I am sure she was brilliant

Hi all, sorry I accidentally pressed the post button
@2Scratters, sorry to hear about your Dad, it is really hard when a parent gets ill, hugs
@Siebrie, wow 9 weeks school vacation, that must take a lot of organising especially when Mr S is away for so long. You have a very busy week ahead
Not sure yet what I will tackle today, rain is forecast so I might not get into the garden
Take care everyone

@Siebrie 9 weeks vacation is a long. Dd breaks up on 21/07 and back 07/09, almost 7 weeks. I've not organised any childcare/holidays yet. Usually I wing it but think I need to book some outings. So far we have a trip to a Lido organised.
DD is OK, just has a sore eye and it's a challenge to get the cream in the eye 4 times a day.15 -
1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Friday is a duller day but the temperature is already 25C 🥵 DH is watching MotoGP practice sessions - 3 weeks on the trot but then nothing for 5 weeks 🤷♀️
Not sure what the plans are for today but I’m sure something will get done 🤞
Meanwhile I should mention that the EDT has been so fast that Siebrie’s post at 9:01 a.m yesterday took us to the same point we reached for the whole of 2022 🥳🤩 No wonder we are all struggling to hang on 🤣 In other news, DH has bought me 2 more gifts for the garden - a longer hose & a cordless pole hedge trimmer which extends to 2.9m 😂 The hedge trimmer is for use on the olive tree which does need a trim 😔 Although I would have preferred to get someone in, DH has decided to be MSE 😉
Florenceem, hopefully tomorrow’s table top sale will be well attended & you can raise lots of money for the SA 🤞 Such a shame that you won’t be seeing MrF this week but must be such a lovely feeling that MrF is so much stronger both physically & mentally 😊 Please don’t tire yourself out in the craft room today as you need plenty of energy for Saturday 🙏 Not sure why I can’t see the photo of DGD M but I imagine she looked beautiful 😊
So sorry to hear about your Dad 2Scratters 😔 I am sending hugs to you, your mum & your siblings 🤗Such a worrying time for you all 😔 No need to bring a chair lounger to the TLC Carriage as that can be provided, together with a relaxing head & shoulder massage. We also now have Silver Service in the dining car ((who knew that there are 3 types - English, French & Russian 😉) With one being far more formal than the other two 😉 I leave you to guess which option is the formal one 😂) Although you might want the more relaxed atmosphere of the buffet car 😊 Now let’s think about an acronym for doing the laundry 🤔 🤔 We could try Washing, line drying, folding, putting away so WLDFPA or maybe Laundry, line drying, folding, putting away so LLDFPA or third choice Laundry, drying, folding, putting away so LDFPA 🤔 I think the last one trips off the tongue & covers both summer & winter drying 😅Although it is currently in use as Lancaster District Food Poverty Alliance & Lake Dillon Foundation for the Performing Arts - I am sure neither of them will mind us using LDFPA 🤞😉 With all that is going on, I will say well done on continuing to declutter & organise 👏 Take care 2Scratters.
Siebrie, that is a hectic schedule 🤩 I am going to be a bit presumptuous now & say that I am rather annoyed (on your behalf) that DH couldn’t delay his trip for another couple of weeks 😖 His loss though as he is missing so much of his daughters’ lives 😔 Good luck 🍀 & I hope you can find some time to sleep 😉
Liverpool_Anne, oh no - no goat business 😔 I was getting quite excited 😅 Thanks for the compliments about the patio & trellis 👏 I like the idea of admiring other people’s gardens in return for a bit of watering 😊 Lovely cheerleading post 😊
Siebrie, that is going to be a busy Tuesday 😉
Fizz2015, sending healing vibes for DD 😊 Good luck with your summer holiday planning 🍀
All caught up 🙂 I suppose now I should get on & do something….. anything 😉 The sun has finally come out & the temperature is creeping up, now 26C ☀️

Belgian school holidays are 1 july until 31 August every year. The country is ready for this and there are soooo many summer camps and summer schools to choose from. My dds chose to not do any.... Which is fine, but I don't want them on the ipad 24/7, so we need a chore list and reward/amusement schedule.Husband bought an early ticket to save €700, and to be with his Mother for the feast of Aïd-al-Adha. His Mum had a stroke 2 years ago and is a complete invalid on the left side of her body. Which is a valid reason, but he misses about 4 major events with his own nuclear family. I'm not quite sure how to feel. His culture puts his Mother before anything else; it's hard to change that, and I do appreciate it, but it's my culture to put the nuclear family first. Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.5917

I was at SA today for 4 hours sorting and getting ready for the table top sale tomorrow.
Spoke to Mr F this morning - he had been with OT to make a cup of tea.
Another lovely day here. The arthritis in my foot has been hurting - usually means rain but none forecast.
I am going to take your advice MrsSD - leave the craft room for today.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

It is possible to get chicken pox twice - I had it as a baby and again in 1989. Just lucky I guess.
As I need to head out fairly soon, will leave totals and get ready to go!

Zipped through the posts and am dispersing cwtches, well dones, be kind to yourselves and dog nose boops as I go xxxxx
i am in the process of looking into a cleaner……I would never have said that 6 months ago but have realised I can’t do everything and although hubby does try to help his long hours mean he only has time at weekends….and sometimes he is just plain worn out. Feels a bit of a cop out to me as I was brought up to do stuff myself and at a very high level. But it will free up some much needed time and will help my mental health.Do any of the declutterati have cleaners? What made you make that decision?
Treatment jab today……that’s come round quick. Certain family members 🤨 wanted me to delay so I could go for a family meal tomorrow…..um….no. It is nothing like a flu jab and as not one of them have bothered to see how I am when it’s jab day, they can go forth and multiply!!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering
