Busy weekend decluttering the garden. One old shed dismantled and tip slot booked. The car will be full! One garden waste bin filled and emptied!

@mrs_salad_dodger, No chance of dh doing the garden...luckily i love a project. 😁 and I figure more time gardening, less time stuffing my face with yummy food 😋.

@tc77, I wouldn't mind but the cupboard was organised a couple of weeks ago... I think dh has been doing his usual trick 🙄

Well today i have tackled one frog: book 2nd dds birthday party Hall. It has been a right pain trying to organise this and has taken about 2 weeks because loads of places are booked up for July or they have packages and we dont want a blooming bouncy castle! I was losing faith and even dh said maybe we should have it at home 😲 but finally found one and called them an hour ago and they confirmed they have space. Going to fill out the form and pay the deposit tonight and then that is completed. Tomorrow I start the hunt for a sleeping beauty princess to appear ....🙄 the things I put myself through

I have also started tackling my 2nd frog; painting the garden fences. 4 panels painted, 5 to go on the side of the garden and then it is the back fence and then the front fence. Hoping to have it completed this week weather depending

Sadly my Improved frame of mind didn't last following a bit of a falling out with DS, but I guess there's likely to be some ups and downs for a while.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed

2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off - 

3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)

4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend

5. Don’t put it down, put it away

6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc

7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed

I realised that I brought 4 items into the house last week - 2 packs of baking cases, a WW2 cookery book and a cake slice. Must do better.

I am definitely not getting any more books - when I piled them together - saw just how many I have.

Been outside before dinner and did some tidying in the front garden.

Listed another item on Freegle.

I asked Mr F today about having two sets of aluminium steps in the garage - he reminded me that a neighbour asked us to store his when he moved into a flat 5 years ago. I have sent an email to them asking if they still want us to hold on to them - hope they say no.

Old neighbour said to dispose of their step ladder - when I went to get it out of the garage - I found a mummified rat! Must have eaten the poison that we put down for mice who get in the gap under the garage door. I have wanted a new garage door for ages. So much junk in that garage that I dread what I will find.

I took some photos today but will show them when job is done.

I have offered the step ladder on Freegle.

What a day!!!!! Silly little things too….the kitchen at work had a load of small ants marching across the floor, one of my computer notes had minimised itself - resulting in utter panic thinking I'd lost 30 passwords…supervisor got a bit snotty …. training is ok…. couldn't park anywhere near my house due to inconsiderate neighbour…hubby left back door unlocked…tendon gone in 1 leg…..something has been munching my pansies….and as my bank didn't recognise the mortgage overpayment bounced it then cancelled the dd. 🫣🫣

Now in bed having had raspberry trifle for tea.

Florenceem that ship looks great and reminds me of the pirate ship in Brixham. I like boats but they don't like me. The waverly is doing trips around South Wales and the Somerset coast line which I love to do but I get very bad sea sickness unfortunately. Though I did manage a trip around Sandbanks and Brownsea Island last night after dosing up first.

Muddy Walker don't blame you for being in bed eating your trifle though I would on a strong drink with it. Hope tomorrow is smoother for you.

Floss I got excited about Sort your life out being on but it's not on BBC Wales. Will catch it on iplayer.

Well I survived another day in the office, felt really anxious going in but fine once there. I'm doing 10-2 this week and gradually increasing my hours. My boss is very supportive, protective and does not want me to get stressed/overwhelmed with work. So I'm going to put my extra time to good use and do some focused decluttering.
