Ziffit parcel collected by DPD today as planned (it does work very well) so that should be a nice amount of pennies in the house savings account. One book they're paying £3.30 for! It's not even a big book!
@Siebrie sad news about your father but glad he's feeling useful and able to plan for himself.

Hi all, not really caught up with you all yet so I will just say hugs to anybody who would like one and I will catch up after this post.
On Sunday I went to the footy so not much else done. Yesterday and today I have done 3 loads of washing, all line dried, folded and put away or given to OH to put away. The bedroom, kitchen and lr recycling bins have been filled and emptied, 100 emails deleted and ta da the bag arrived from bt so 2 hubs, 2 mini hugs a booster disc thing and 5 ethernet cables have been photographed, put into their original boxes, put into the bag and been posted. The parcel is being tracked and I have the receipt safe in my purse 😃. I have also remembered to take my meter readings and send them off. I am in the process of sorting out a small note book to keep a monthly record of these as the smart meter isn't working properly. I am hoping this will enable me to work out how much we are using so if they keep sending me estimated bills etc I will be able to challenge them if needed. Also managed to declutter some weeds from the garden.
I have lost my emoji button and my insert photo button on my kindle 😢😠 but I can get some emojis by typing the word 😃.
643 - 645 3 loads of washing sorted
646 kitchen recycling emptied
647 bedroom recycling emptied
648 lr recycling emptied
649 100 emails permanently deleted
650 - 656 2 hubs, 2 mini hubs, booster disc, wires (1) and original packaging (1) posted back to bt.
657 meter readings
I have large spaces appearing between the lines now so sorry if this post takes up loads of room. Off to catch up now, and I have no edit button so I hope it makes sense!
Take care everyone.

Lovely morning here.
Why are we getting big gaps between lines of typing now?
I am researching where to get an electric garage door - be a lot easier for us than our up and over push one.
Chap who came with Freegler lifted the steps out of my house.
Someone has asked for the old neighbour's steps - I can see space appearing in the garage.
A Freegler wants the bag of vintage cigarette cards.
I found a vintage tray in the garage yesterday - magnet didn't cling - think it is copper but needs tlc - put it on Freegle.
I really don't want to spare time trying to sell stuff - I want to get organised so I can get back to crafting. Mr F won't be home soon and I can throw stuff while he is not here - don't think he would be able to let go of so much.
Will take stuff to the charity shop before going to friendship/lunch club at SA.

Morning All, beautiful morning here with sunshine and blue skies. Certainly lifts the mood.
The lines between text are a tad frustrating, it makes the posts extra long.
Off to work shortly and will be icing cakes tonight for the weekend. Scones already made and in the freezer. Made last night to fill the oven as had a shock when I checked our energy bill. Used about £350 of gas & electric in March! That was a shock as I'm really strigent and turn everything off. So will be double checking everything later to ensure unplugged and off if not needed!! OH been told he can't have deep baths every night and will shower at the gym more.
Will update decluttering totals later.

I tackled the shelf in the utility where we keep medical bits - plasters/tablets etc. Was so much stuff in there to go - taking old medications to chemist this morning for them to dispose of. Had to put more rubbish in my neighbours waste bin. Need to pick up a clothes recycling sack from SA today so I can start again.
Have someone coming tomorrow to give me a quote for landscaping our very small front garden - there is a bit of grass on a slope - we really don't want to be mowing so will find out what suggestions chap has to make it easier to maintain. Our mower is ancient and on it's last legs so it will save getting a new one. Hope the quote is reasonable - local company with good reviews. I would like two new side gates and a rebuilt front garden wall plus drive gates but - all depends on cost.

@Florenceem if the landscaper suggests you put down weed proof fabric and cover in stones just say no. If there's a slope the stones will slide down and you'll need to rake them up hill - back breaking work. Don't ask me how I know!!! (ok - it was our previous property, after a couple of years we removed all the stones, freegled them, and I laid grass down - much easier to mow than rake!!!)
Off now to the work warehouse to do a tip run for them. OH doesn't want to come with me but when I mentioned this he said he's seen a sign about all the new things they charge for at the tip. So I've checked that to ensure I don't load the wrong stuff. If it's all old tatty furniture that's fine. It's the brick, rubble and any glass that's the problem.

Was feeling unmotivated yesterday. Caught up with the thread early evening and your posts gave me the boost that I needed to just do a few minutes. So, did some tidying and a few things put in recycling bin.
Have booked valuation appointment for Friday morning so need to tidy more for that plus push on for OH moving in and if we decide to go ahead and sell this as well, it needs to be as clear as possible for marketing and viewings. So, plenty of incentives to crack on.
